'17 GA ATH DeAngelo Gibbs

I honestly don't think him coming here is a big deal. We are stacked at D and it sounds like some are concerned about his ceiling. As in he has already hit it.

If he wants to play for the most underachieving team in the SEC, let him. Georgia won't ever be a threat for any kind of championship.

Underachieving is true, but based on the last several years, they've had more success than UT

Meh, depends on how you look at it. Having Dooley for a coach, we didn't have a chance to beat anybody half descent in the SEC. Butch has proven he can beat UGA and we're favored to beat them again this year. Tennessee has the recent success right now while UGA will just continue to be UGA. You are right , but these young men have seen Georgia on national tv and in the SEC championship game, while Butch was rebuilding UT.

We know the bigger picture because we are longtime fans. These kids live in the moment.

I really don't think it's that big of a deal with how our D is shaping up

It does lessen the blow but... Two things for me.

1) At one point, like several other highly rated players, Gibbs was supposed to be all Vol.

2) F UGA. I don't want them getting any more studs.

This one took a turn, seems like Kirby is stacking family members to get Gibbs, first the Reed kid and another one to be announced soon.

I hate we might lose him but the good news is if he's taking three or four to get one then it will hurt him in the long run except he will probably Saban the other three and Gibbs will be stuck with the new Dooley.
