'21 GA OT Amarius Mims (Georgia commit)

Yup we needed that inflection point to skip line in our progress. It's not a setback per se...but the timeline is extended again.
Right the issue wasn't losing, it was losing ugly. We were supposed to lose, we weren't supposed to look inept doing it.

Did Trey? Saw a clip today that Jordan Davis destroyed him. One game won’t hurt their future, Smith and Morris will both play in NFL. I stand by that
You think Jordan Davis is a better player than Trey Smith? Or was that stupid shifting thing throwing off the timing on every play? Just enough to gain an advantage.

Just one play. That was my point, every guy has a bad game, Morris is still very talented and will play on Sunday’s. Mays took the big L Saturday, he gave up 3 sacks and 3 penalties by himself,

I’ve already said multiple times that Weinke needs to be given his walking papers.
At this point I'm honestly not sure where to place blame, although ultimately it lands on the HC
A friend told me Mims left the game at half time so we should be good hear
He probably gave the halftime speech in the GA locker room that got them fired up.

Hard to do when you haven't developed a replacement more capable than him.

I don’t know if that’s the case though. I think there would have been a clear QB competition if not for the flu. I believe that changed everything. From the practice reports Fingers gave, Shrout really seemed like he was standing out. Who knows?

Agreed. Not having a real spring and summer and fall off season hurt. QBs in particular.

We all knew QB development this off season was huge for this season.

And this off season...ugh.
