'25 GA OT Josh Petty (Georgia Tech commit)

The golden era for players will be when revenue sharing starts
Will the stadium upgrades currently funded by state governments then be part of athletic dept expenses reducing profit revenue? pot may not be as big as some think once football and basketball move to their own set of books.

some ADs already talking about sports that may go because of the profit sharing….

DJ was not a better QB at Oregon St than he was at Clemson. I think Florida State has the talent but being week 0 in Dublin is a rough spot. Week 4 and I think it's a different game
Nah he would find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I don’t know if it’s Georgia Tech being good or FSU was vastly overrated to start with.
DJ Ugelshahhs is an energy vampire.

Every school he goes to the offense is just flat...

And then the back up comes in and brings it to life again..

Clemson
Oregon St
Same will happen att FSU

He wants to play Tackle.

Not happening.
$ talks, who knows if we offer him OT $ maybe he will reconsider, plus we could be like “hey, we want to start you at guard for your first couple of seasons then possibly slide you outside”

Or we could go to the portal and get a real OT with that money. Georgia Tech sold him on their program, he has friends going there, already has a deal set up. I highly doubt he goes back on that, I doubt we even circle back around to here

I think that's been the play but who knows what you get there. It's kinda like NFL free agency where you wonder why a good OL is available unless it's a guy from a smaller school moving up

Just look for the all Americans at those smaller schools.

Jermod and Brazzell are both great multi year pickups and we can already see that they belong at this level.

Like you said, go to the smaller schools and find some freshman all American OL that are transferring. May not be any, but you can find 2/3 guys that were close to making it or just as good.

They need veteran OL badly. Wouldn't say they need young OL desperately
I would say that OL coach they have needs to develop the OL he already has. No excuse to coach nearly 4 years and we have no options coming up behind the starters we have now. And not one of those starters are guys he recruited.

I kind of like this idea.
