'20 GA QB Harrison Bailey (UT SIGNEE)

I have Marietta season tickets and I can tell you we had one of the worst OL's in 7a last year.
Then I don’t understand the high rank with a slightly mobile qb. Not saying your claim is inaccurate because I simply don’t know but it can’t be that bad ranked 13 in such a hotbed state. Maybe it seems that way in comparison to previous years? Idk.... puzzling.

Your bias is really showing now chizzle. You’re giving a pass to Keaton due to lack of experience KNOWING that he’s right. Calloway, Palmer or Jennings would’ve made that play while criticizing an inexperienced qb for what you call a bad throw? Ouch
You lost this one as soon as you refused to concede it was a bad throw. All QBs throw them. Bad QBs throw an abundance...this was ONE.

I realized after the SG that I would have an unpopular opinion about it. I just think RK could’ve made the play.

Lol biased? Please name which players I am “biased” against. Btw almost everyone knows which QB I am critical of and it is deserved for said QB.

Let me explain because there are reasons I disagree. I’m not saying it couldn’t have been thrown better but I feel like knowing he can throw a football 70 yards, and he was able to set his feet on that particular throw, he threw it there (or in that manner) on purpose to give RK the best chance to win against a breaking safety. Makes sense to me. If you look at the still shots chizzle provided on the second picture you’ll see the angle of JM and a perfect opportunity for RK to do what he’s done so many times before and put his foot in the ground to gain position.

Except if he would of just led Keyton there wouldn’t have been any issues or interceptions because McCullough was beat deep and he was the last safety. Especially since Brian Maurer can throw the ball 70 yds. Meaning it was a bad throw.

It’s not a big deal. Let’s just move on and agree to disagree on this subject. It’s simple It could’ve been a better thrown ball but Keaton could’ve made the play as well. It’s over with and nothing we can do about it.

So we’re suggesting that JM wouldn’t have changed his pursuit angle and met him at the balk.

He could have possibly done that. However, he was beat deep so it would of been hard for him to make that ground up. But please keep trying to make your idiotic argument that it wasn’t Maurer’s fault work.

My god Chizz.... let it go! You seen a horrible throw. I get it! I seen a horrible effort! Except it! It doesn’t mean either of us know more about it than the other. It just means we disagree. One thing I’m sure we can both agree on is BM is a better, more experienced qb than either of us and that’s how he chose to throw the ball. Who are we to say he was right or wrong or judge what he was thinking in that moment? If HE made the mistake I’m sure he heard about it. If Keaton made the mistake I’m sure he did as well. They’ll learn from it

It’s Keyton while we’re being accurate all over the place. 😏

Bad throw...happens.

I think there is absolutely no incentive for a recruiting service to unfairly rank a kid lower than what their ability reflects. Recruiting services stake their reputation on being accurate and correct so there’s no incentive to do what many assert them doing.
Also, their accuracy is reflected in their class ranking and comparing it to end of the year results for college football teams. In other words, look at who finishes in the top 10 each year and correlate that with how they’ve been recruiting based on where their classes have ranked. Sure there are exceptions, but more times than not, the recruiting services get it right.
For the record I’m not sure it’s intentional for the services to rank a kid higher or lower than his ability reflects until late in the process. By then they have a reputation to uphold so it wouldn’t bode well for them to give an under evaluated kid, that no one knew about (because they didn’t either), a boost over the kids that carried the higher ranks all year long. If you think about something like that happening, what would they say when “John Doe” suddenly appears in the rankings over DJ Uiagalelei? That alone would make people question their accuracy and the services all together. So instead they assign a 3* rank when the truth is they just didn’t know about him because he plays for a school that ranks low. To be fair if a player is good enough to earn a 3* rank while playing for a school that ranks in the 1000s he’s more than likely a 4/5* talent.

😂 you keep proving my point of you not knowing anything over and over again.

How about you read this article. Then GTFOH already.

Jaylen McCollough records two interceptions in Orange and White game
So because he called it an “alley oop” that automatically tells you he thought it was a bad throw? Maybe he meant it was exactly what I said it was, a ball thrown high and short and a lack of challenge from a WR. Maybe he meant a little of both. BTW your pictures didn’t help your case. At no point was he backpedaling during his route until the ball arrived. And in picture #2 is exactly my point. Tell me he couldn’t have put his foot in the ground and gained position on JM.

I understand most people don’t see it the way I do. I’m ok with that. You just can’t seem to get past it

You are a 🥔 plain and simple. CJP called it an Alley-Oop because it was a bad throw.

If you “watched the play” like you said you did, “YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE HIM BACKPEDALING” at the point the ball got to him and yes “Still Shots” do it injustice because he was running full speed. However, the “still shots” do actually show him backpedaling.

Again GTFOH 🥔

Edit: If it makes you feel better he tried to jump for the ball while he was running full speed and doing a 180 causing the back pedaling when JM undercut the throw lol 😂
