'20 GA QB Harrison Bailey (UT SIGNEE)

You are a šŸ„” plain and simple. CJP called it an Alley-Oop because it was a bad throw.

If you ā€œwatched the playā€ like you said you did, ā€œYOU CAN CLEARLY SEE HIM BACKPEDALINGā€ at the point the ball got to him and yes ā€œStill Shotsā€ do it injustice because he was running full speed. However, the ā€œstill shotsā€ do actually show him backpedaling.

Again GTFOH šŸ„”
Put me on ignore dude. Iā€™d actually prefer it that way. Iā€™ve conceded that most donā€™t see it the way I do. Iā€™ve admitted it couldā€™ve been thrown better and Iā€™ve repeatedly told you to let it go. Yet your ego is allowing me to live rent free inside your head when you keep butting into conversations that have nothing to do with you.

Let me remind you that you brought this up as well while once again butting into a conversation that had nothing to do with this subject.

You literally said you are defending Brian Maurer, then ask me how I know that CJP thought it was a bad throw. If you donā€™t want to see my posts you can ignore me because I donā€™t ignore anyone.

Also, I love the fact that you keep responding because it keeps showing people how much of a šŸ„” you are.

Keep showing your arse new guy.

In case your comprehension level is low I said I was defending BM due to the one I was being compared to. Little Vol is a huge Maurer fan and I happen to not disagree with most of his points in regards to him. Being called a crackhead because of it was a bit harsh so I responded to HIM.

And itā€™s well observed that you donā€™t ignore anyone when you canā€™t stay out of my conversations that had nothing to do with you OR this subject. Like I said..... rent free

But the actual numbers show JG's were better...Bill C said it himself and it was the point of the blind comparison. Throw away the names...JG has better numbers than Herbert, despite absolutely no help.

12 game season is what everyone plays. Right?

What at minimum must your win total be to become bowl eligible?
6. Right?

So 6-6. Min...

According to the logic in that article.
To become bowl eligible...all we have to do is go 2-1... 2-1 is a better winning percentage than 6-6 .

Why have $1,000,000,000 in winnings with $1,000,000 in debt?
When I could have $1,000,000 and $.01! Right?

Herbert had 29 TDS.
JG had 12....

In a game where the most points wins. How can you say he had better numbers????

Efficiency. Can't blame JG for only having 246 attempts. Or having a league-worse rushing attack dragging him down. Meanwhile Herbert had the Pac's #4 rushing attack and a better defense helping him. Herbert has more TDs because he got more opportunities due to all those combined factors. We can't punish JG for things outside his control. He did his part.

Can't punish him when he converts 44% on 3rd down, yet when we ran on 3rd down we only converted 28%!! Or the defense being 11th in the league at getting off the field and getting more attempts and better field position for the offense. It's like blaming a PG for having too few assists a game when his teammates are missing every shot and turning the ball over.

Btw, we led the league in fumbles lost. Again, lost opportunities and not his fault.

We were also dead last in the FBS in plays ran. 130th of 130 teams. Which also brings up PACE. We ran 14 plays a game less than Oregon. That's worth some 80 or 90 ypg and probably an extra few RZ attempts each game...think about it. Slow azz pace equals lower volume numbers.

JG has also had THE fewest pass attempts in the league, so it's also like blaming that same PG for having lower total stats when the coach won't even let him play 60% of the time. All we can do at that point is rate him on how well he does when he gets in. Thus, efficiency.

JG has him on completion%
3rd down conversion
TD:INT
YPA are the same

Overall I'd say they're pretty similar.

The fewest pass attempts in the league.
And 3rd down conversation on the ground. When JG gets sacked it counts a "rush". Part of that low conversion rate is him.

Few pass attempts vs called pass plays.
He's not always throwing it even when the play calls for it. Takes a lot of sacks. Sacks that could have been avoided a lot of time.

12 tds in ANY scenario is never better than 29 TDS in the game of football.

Duuuu JG was sacked a whopping 3 more times than Herbert (technically, Oregon had 3 fewer than UT...can't break it down which qb took how many. I know Chryst took a few,), YET Oregon converted rushing 3rd downs at 45%! vs our 28%...no comparison really.

Your last statement...you're just trying hard avoid the point now. But just to appease your hypothetical...12 TDs in 1 game would be more impressive than 29 TDs in a season. That is the argument of rate, pace, efficiency, etc, to the extreme. Reality is much less extreme, but the same point. It is about production per attempts and focusing on what the player we are critiquing can control, not that which he can't control. Not blindly looking at total stats. Otherwise Carmelo Anthony would still be a great shooter, when really he just shoots a lot.

Its July, you really arenā€™t going to read new things about players. Hints why you have all the extracurricular going on.
