A reclassified Bailey would almost certainly RS. Why would we not?
Because we don't have much at QB right now. A project in Shrout and a gunshy QB with limited mobility that doesn't work through his progressions.
It's not an ideal situation to be in playing a 17 year old at QB but it got SC to a bowl game and right now we need to make progress.
As someone else mentioned, at the very least it might spark some true competition at the position.

He might not have the option to sign as a 2019 recruit during the signing period from February to...I think...late March or early April. Depends on when they know he can reclassify and I'm sure the NCAA has to approve the reclassification. Blueshirting could end up being the only option, as strange as that sounds.A recruit this highly regarded and rated isn't going to blueshirt imo
