Jaylen Wright MAYBE is the only SEC caliber back we have on our roster
And yes. That includes Jabari.
We have no one in our current RB room that can score from anywhere on the field. I think Sampson and Williams change that, but we still need a good transfer RB
His one shoulder since the Pitt game. He was quoted after the season that every time he went on the field he was worried that one more hit would end his season. And Jaylen Wright, he hadn’t played a down of football since 2019 since NC didn’t have high school football in 2020. For those guys to carry the load after Evans went out I’d say is very impressiveJabari is better than Jaylen. We won games with his one shoulder. Will be better next yr healthy
Jabari was our first back since Kamara that could make a safety miss in the open field. Ty and Gray was an automatic tackle if the safety had a angleJaylen Wright MAYBE is the only SEC caliber back we have on our roster

well when the season starts he wont be the "same size" plus he already looks bigger honestly. You can look at this kid and see he can easily be a 225lb RB. Cant say that about the others and thats ok. They are very good too. We need diff skillsets. Just makes us better.
So this is the only prerequisite to be an "SEC caliber" back?..... Is that in the SEC by laws? Who made that up?Jaylen Wright MAYBE is the only SEC caliber back we have on our roster

A) They are both “SEC caliber” RBs and that’s pretty obvious.
B) Jabari was/is a better RB than Jaylen this season.
C) Jaylen has a higher upside and, I believe, will be better than Jabari, starting next year. JW needs to add muscle in the off-season and fill out. I think there’s a good chance he’s the starter on opening day 2022.
He didn’t show a 4.3 on the field this season. Hopefully as he becomes more comfortable playing his speed win shine through. 4.3 is Coker type speed.Definitely agree here. JW is the fastest back we have. Runs a legit 4.3, you just can't teach that. With more muscle on his frame he can really help us out.
