Really is a sorry move to tell the staff all this time that he is committed and then switch at the last minute when the staff doesn't have time to recruit anyone else. Also not sure why we weren't after more elite safeties.
Expect things like this to happen more frequently moving forward.

what? then why be committed to us?

or is the pocket telling the mind what it wants to hear?
Also contradicts his “I was lied to and loyal“ statement. If UF was always in the back of his mind, then his flip reason was the lie. No wonder other commits were calling him out.

Can u describe what actually happened with Shaedy? Was it an agent, did he just not want to come here, or something else?
Was a family member..not immediate but someone who has been helping him. You go from ur twins sisters wearing checkerboard overalls Friday and instagramming about TN win sat to a surprise UF visit on Sunday and decommitment.

something is fishy. anyway, can't help but think we are better off. doesnt Merritt any further discussion.

Kid will be breaking down the door to transfer, once the check bounces.

Bro picked a school so a non immediate family member gets paid? Beta lmao
It’s probably someone he trusted that got in his ear and made him take a visit. I’m sure that non immediate family member was well compensated by Florida. Kid jumped on board with the place that bounces more NIL checks than any other and I’m sure his dumbass didn’t have the foresight to make sure there was language in that contract to protect his interests.

Feels like a story that winds up with a bad ending.😏
I just don't think I want a guy, regardless of talent, that is not all in on being here. I don't think CJH is a risk taker in that area. Remedial VFL is not a good bet. sometimes the fit is just not there and you move on without remorse. See ya.

well, i don't think this was a case of us moving on at all....i think, as has been stated, this was a surprise to pretty much everybody....that said, and i think this is where you were going, it's done, can't do anythying about it now. so yeah, we'll move on.

It appears they misread his level of desire to become a VFL. It happens to this staff, but not often. So yes I am saying the staff was good with walking away and made no extraordinary efforts to woo him back after his surprise position. Does not make him a bad kid, just not a cultural fit, which can be important.

Sounds like a beta to me. Sad.
