Jewel Spear. Some may not get it and that’s okay but if Rickea is 1A and definitely has the ability to flourish as she has done before and shows it when she’s healthy again then Jewel is certainly 1B.

For one thing, it’s great for Tennessee that Jewel decided to transfer here and not join these other contenders that wanted her badly.

She truly could’ve went to any team.

Tennessee doesn’t know yet how to use her. Or Destinee Wells to be honest. Wells every game makes decisions and quality passes that the team isn’t ready or use to because of the way they are being coached to play offense.

Post game pressor. Not much new. Not sure why they didn't bring JP.

Know what's depressing? Press is not even asking for updates on Rickea any more.

Why bother asking? Not like it’s unclassified… 🫡
Really enjoyed seeing the team buckle down for a nice resume builder. Still, plenty of room to grow and continue to develop the will to win.

100% agree.
The players that played on the court earned the win, so this post game was and should’ve been focused on that.
Jewel Spear is a #1 option.
With Rickea the team is 1-1.
Without her the team is 3-1.
I see development and growth in Wells, TK, Powell, Wynn, Striplin, and Puckett.
Hollingshead and Darby are in a bit of a slump.
Everyone will be hoping for good results when Rickea and Ace return to play.
Tennessee is poised to contend for the SEC and Nat’l championship.

Spears is a good player, to be sure--and she is the quality second scorer that we need. Let's also note that she was 5-15 today. Not great shooting.

This is a win but by no means was this a season changer. Oklahoma was handled by Princeton. Show me we can beat a top 15 team consistently. Show me we can stay within 20 of a top five team. This was a win. Better than a loss type win. But nothing i would get excited over. This team has many issues from coaching on down to grt straightened out.

I think it's you guys who are delusional. Yes, sadly, I'm afraid the spot we're in is this win was huge, definitely one to get excited over. Yes I see the issues. There are many, led by the absence of the best player this program has had in years. And so many others as you said and we all saw. All the more reason to be effin delighted we avoided getting swept in Fla.

I wish I could be all haughty taughty and set high standards for wins, but clearly we are not living in that world. I'm back to taking it one game at a time and hoping we somehow piece it together. Espec unless/until we get RJ back. Am I thrilled it's this way? No. Did I expect this? Hell no. But here we are, once again.

Who guards Hilago Wednesday night? Time to start Wynn? Ya'll see how hard Cora Hall is campaigning for Wynn in her coverage?
