They had some really good 3pt looks that were way off mark. I think part of it was FSU made our ladies run a little harder tonight.

Tennessee had a bad 3rd quarter. Latson and FSU scored on a lot of breakdown and just poor execution.
At the end of the day, Talaysia Cooper and Lazaria Spearman over in the 4th qtr.
Cooper was the best player on the court when it counted on both ends of the floor.
Again great game by Latson and FSU but when it was time to make a play the best players on the court in the 4th qtr (Coop and Spearman) seal the deal.

The inbounds pass they had like three or four breakaways in the game. That has to stop.

I don’t see them taking lumps to be honest.. they are good now and will only get better from here.
I’ll bet they give out more lumps than they will receive.
This team is just getting start and is way way ahead of schedule if we’re being honest.

1) I feel like we shot too many 3's, but I wouldn't be complaining if we had made a few more of them. 9-35 wasn't easy to watch.

2) I loved the offensive rebounding, but you will get plenty of opportunities for them when you miss 51 shots.

3) This style of play leaves room for error, but there will be quarters like what we had in the 3rd tonight. Gotta take the bad with the good.

An oportunity to learn the lesson: you can't let off when you hav less than 60 points, no matter how many points your opponent has. With how fast we play, you can go from being up 20 to being down 2 in the span of one quarter, just off sloppy play.

My confidence in Kim as a coach grew tonight. I think she is going to get it done here. She has this team playing fairly well except for they haven't been shooting well. The way they rebounded the offensive boards again tonight is something we haven't seen since Pat Summitt.

The officiating in women's basketball has always been very, very bad, but those officials were so extraordinarily awful that I am going to learn their names.

One thing I was impressed with was how much better Jill is on both offense and defense. She actually passed up a couple of more chances to drive that I think she should take when she is more comfortable with her role. I had written her off as a lost cause last year. It was huge that she, Latham and Spearman battled the post game to at least a draw when FSU had good size.

Not sure what happened coming out of the half but their heads were somewhere else entirely. Without that letdown, or with average shooting we win comfortably.

Gritty win with someone besides Cooper making the key basket should build confidence and shows we have some gamers.

The Lady Vols have only played 6 games. But in only 6 games it seems to me there has been incremental growth each game. And tonight's game has given the staff and team SO much valuable information to work with. They were the perfect opponent to provide our players with what they needed to see to take another step up the ladder.

That they were finally able to buckle down and get the win after losing that huge lead will definitely be helpful to them going forward.

I'm still kinda in shock, I think. Damn BVS still shows up now and then and that stinks.

Definitely agree, but they’re such good shots oddly. A lot of our 3s were wide open, we just missed them! I also think the wrong players take them. Spear, Tess, and Spencer are the only ones I feel confident shooting the 3, and surprisingly Cooper has shot it well lately!

Get used to it lol. We are gonna shoot close to 40 game. Whether they’re going in or not. Have to hope we continue to recruit well and get some knock down two way players.

Crowd was so into it too, been a while since The Summitt was rocking like that for the women’s team. Idk what the attendance was but they go loud when we needed them.

Loved the defense chants in the fourth and getting loud on Free Throws. Helped us so much. Play this one on the road and it’s a loss almost certainly.
