Enjoyable game. Interesting that all our SEC wins have been by at least 9 points, but when we lose we really play poorly. So happy for Jillian. Kellie said that she has been putting together some good practices so hopefully it can carry over the rest of the year. Decent defense for the most part. We really needed a game like this before the hardest part of our schedule starts.

Now that was fun. Everyone seemed to be having fun tonight. Good tribute to Tasha B who always had a big smile. Those of you grumpy and harumphing over this, I just hate it for you.

She had way more fun tonight than I've seen her have in a minute. Couldn't stop dancing. Was really hoping for a double double for her., one rebound short.

Not sure why it took Neighbors 17 first half points to realize they couldn't guard her one on one. Saylor, just no, not a chance to stop Rickea. Neighbors really brought the hammer down on her in the second half, but it was far too late.

Good to see Jewel have a nice, stat stuffing bounce back game. She needed to get a few more shots up.

For those who say Powell was hero balling or shooting too much, hate to tell you but KJH said just the other day she thinks JP should shoot more. I'm sure she'd like the shot selection to be a bit better than it was tonight. I do agree she should def look to Rickea and Jewel first, esp when they're hot. Sure is fun to see JP absolutely soar for a rebound. Her hops are amazing, bet she can dang near outjump TK!

Let's get thru Thursday with some dignity left intact and not too tired or injured. The game at Vandy Sunday is huge.

Over-all, they didn’t shoot that well and had too many turnovers, but their defense was elite and they exploited their size advantage by bottling up Arkansas’ speedy guards and dominating the boards. They basically took away Arkansas preferred gameplan.

Please explain to me the philosophy behind conceding rebounds. Arkansas concedes rebounds about as often as they try for them. If we were a fast break team, maybe concentrate on getting back. But we're so not. It's so odd to see them just retreat immediately when the shot goes up.

For Arky it’s pace of play. They play a style that they don’t care if u get more rebound bc they keep jacking quick threes. Now if those quick threes don’t fall they will run a more conventional offense and attack the glass. Otherwise it possession possession possession…. Take more shots.

I’m a little shocked they don’t press more. They used to in his past teams

Did you notice that they even pulled everyone off on some of our free throws? I've never seen that except at the end of games.

BTW, Taliah Scott is the real deal, too bad she's on that team. She should hit the portal...and we should grab her!

Something which infuriates me, and I saw it again tonight, where boxing out takes precedent over snagging a rebound…

Yes! Pulling off on fts was wild! Still not sure how that helps.

Scott was very good, but dear Lord what are we going to do with another guard!

I saw only a few minutes of the game but am still high on what I did see. Gonna watch the replay ASAP.

I will say I did not expect such a blowout victory, but am soooo happy for the team and staff they stepped up for Tasha tonight. Kinda makes me a little teary to think about how happy they all surely are tonight to have played so well.

Sometimes you need more height in the paint
.I was going matchup on who plays vs different teams.
(Matchups) was word had in mind.
Sometimes Tennessee needs a taller post
Sometimes the coaches play karoline more.
Tonight she didn't get enough minutes

Striplin Key Jillian all play center
Depending on the team playing
Karoline or Jillian gets more minutes.
And sometimes Kellie says
That player was playing good so they rolled with it.

And Karoline and Jillian play Power forward
So does Jackson and Puckett play the four.and both play the three some.

Bottom line minutes change by who they play and the flow of the game.

Nothing suggests more aptly the fact that a team will be a big underdog in its next game quite like "let's try to get through it with our dignity still intact." Get out there, kids--and above all maintain your dignity!
