The individual who currently has the job. And she isn't going anywhere. So, maybe you should just give it up and support the team or go support some other team. It really doesn't matter. You're not important enough for your opinion to matter. You are irrelevant.

If that's how you feel then I have one suggestion, stop watching them and root for someone else. Leave the rooting for real fans who still believe in the team!

Unless Geno or Muffett have expressed interest in the job, I'm indifferent to the matter. While I don't think Holly's a great coach, I don't think she's a bad one either. Certainly not horrible enough that she should be replaced with the W-L record she's accumulated so far. I expect that Tennessee will be back in top 10 soon, will do reasonably well in the SEC standings, and return to the S16 or E8 in the tournament...maybe even FF depending on how their regular season games with SC and ND go.

So it is your contention that except for Geno or Muffett, no other coaches would be better than her?

It's my contention that outside of those 2, or a couple of other powerhouse coaches like Tara or KMR who aren't going anywhere, I'm not convinced that any other coach would make the team markedly better than Holly has done so far. Any improvements that were realized would not end up mattering in the grand scheme of things. There wouldn't be NCs...there wouldn't be more FFs. Maybe a better overall record, but not so much better that it would be worth the effort. Yes, she's had her share of stinkers, but so does everyone else (except maybe Geno).

Replacing Holly Warlick. The funny thing is with Izzy in the lineup, we would've won both games we lost. The sad part is you would still be finding some reason for why Holly needs to be replaced. Come on man, lighten up a little bit.

If Holly were hired by another program to build the program like a Mississippi State or Auburn she would be fired after a few years. She couldn't build anything.

But she's not building anything. The house was already built...really nice place, high quality materials, everything. She just needs to keep the place kept up.

I'm out on a limb? You must not visit the Lady Vols forum very much. The last couple of years I have been one who has said we need to give her time. I'm not seeing anything from her. She is clueless.

Holly's plan for this game today was to get Burdick more involved. If that is her plan going forward we are going to lose big.

What's wrong with you? You sound like you have some personal issue with Holly, which really makes no sense, because I don't think she'd ever associate with someone like you. So, again I ask . . . what is wrong with you?

No coach you have named, not Geno, Muffet, Jeff Walz, Mathew Mitchell or Tara Vandeveer built their programs in their first few years either. So your expectations of how long it takes to build a program are not attainable by anyone.

But, you want the kind of coach who could build a program as your coach. Only those kinds of coaches could keep an established program from declining.

Geno inherited nothing. He built them from scratch and it happened pretty quickly. Muffett also escalated quickly and so did Walz and Mitchell. Holly inherited McDonalds All Americans and she has done nothing with it.

You aren't out on a limb. You're in another universe. Tennessee lost two games it shouldn't have lost, but you fail to take into consideration how much not having Harrison impacted the team during those games. You want to lay all the blame at Holly's feet, and that's totally undeserved. The fact is, you're just being a jerk. The fact that YOU "aren't seeing anything" from her is irrelevant. You would still b**** about Holly if the team wins a national title this year. YOU are the individual who is clueless. You couldn't buy a clue.

Then explain what you think is wrong with me. Do you think something is wrong with me because I disagree with you? Something is wrong with you because you are a complete and utter a**hole when it comes to discussing the coach of the team that you claim to support. That speaks to some underlying issue. I support the team, and I don't have a problem at all with Coach Warlick. I want her to be the coach of the Lady Vols.

You care more about the coach than you do about the players or the team or winning.
