How can you have Michael Griffin, Chris Hope, Nick Harper, and Cortland Finnegan in the secondary.....be so damn good against the run, and just suck so bad against the pass? Those guys were tired and had no pass rush, but come on, they knew Ben was going to throw it on both of those last drives.
Also have a bone to pick with the run game, the Titans have looked VERY sluggish running the ball in preseason and it continued here.
...and I'm not sure how much of that can be credited to the Titans rather than the Steelers just being awful at running the ball. Didn't they struggle running the ball all of last year as well?
Media's going to keep running with the "Titans D sucks without Albert" angle now. Can't wait.
Well, Titans fans could look at it this way...We won the regular season match-up against Pitt last year and didn't do much in the playoffs. Maybe this year we can let them have the reg. season win and we can have a run when it counts.
Nobody's smug just prodding you a little. Lighten up. I just really wanted this game after the one in Nashville last year.
It's no fun winning if one can't rub it in a little. It was a good game. Titan fans should go away feeling good about their team.

sorry. just saw the first two posts and figured you were one of "those" fans
i still heavily favor the pats though this year regardless of feelings or affiliations with other teams.....
I do feel good about the team. Normally I wouldn't mind people rubbing it in because I talk crap sometimes. I was just on good behavior once and didn't want to take sh*t when I was respectful for one.
If this was toward the end of the season. I'd pry be more upset. I just know it's one loss and the Titans barely lost to one of the best teams in the NFL. THey should take care of the crappier teams no prob.[/QUOTE]
I agree.
meh. that's like florida fans saying UT sweeping them in basketball means they're going to win a national championship (...which actually they did that year)
i just dont believe that any team i cheer for will get any of those magical trends.
honestly, my feelings are and have been they missed their best chance last year, and now not only do they need to reload/fix some things but they need to wait for a more highly talented team like the pats to get worse or injured again....
My basketball team, baseball team and football team(titans) have never won a championship since they've been in existence. Neither have has my college basketball team... the Vols obviously. My team in the NBA might have won a championship but I think it was in ABA.
Need to have some faith in the Titans. Still an awesome team.
