Did you see that game 2 years ago? Our OL kept jumping because of the crowd noise and the UGA defensive line stunts. No, it is not Neyland but Heupel has had problems on the road in the SEC. He has not won a big game on the road in conference since Kentucky 3 years ago.
Not only did I see that game, but I even saw the Eric Ainge tweet that helped fire up that crowd :D

I highlighted the key part of your post. This is a different year, different players and different teams. I’m certainly not going to predict victory, but I think we have a good shot.

Yes, we have a shaky freshman QB, or a backup and a more stagnant offense compared to 2 years ago. Based on our road performance at Arkansas and Heupel’s SEC road record I have little confidence.

LSU two years ago doesn't qualify as a big road game?

Georgia’s post season is on the line. If they lose this game there is no SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME or a chance at the playoffs. It is a must game for them to save their season.

Yes it does. But other than that we have road games against Missouri, USCe, Tuscaloosa, Gainesville, and Athens. Some of those have been against lesser teams.

As much as I hate Georgia, I really wanted them to beat Ole Miss. This is going to be a playoff elimination game for them now and they are going to come out playing their "A" game.

They do look more vulnerable this year than any recent season and we match up better than in the past, but going to be a difficult game regardless.
Playing for your life also means PRESSURE Beck is already a head case and Bobo may screw it up. We need to worry about Eitienne and get our run defense back

Agree. Hope for the best, expect the worst.

And to make matters worst, I don’t see a 10-2 TN team making playoffs.

Texas, UGA, Ole Miss and Bama. You may be able to add aTm in the mix if they beat Texas.

Our best shot is hoping Notre Dame loss and /or Indiana gets blown out by Ohio State. They would possibly give SEC five teams.

Saban and Kirby both beat the piss out of whoever they play the week after a loss.
You are just making stuff up about Kirby. Other than 2 bowl games after UGA lost in the SEC Champ game, Kirby does not beat the piss out of teams after a loss. It is just not true in regular season.

Regular Season after loss:

2024: Beat a terrible Auburn team 31-13
2023: No regular season loss
2022:No loss
2021: No regular season loss
2020: Beat 5-6 KY team 14-3 and 4-7 MSU team 31-24 ( including bye week)
2019: Beat 8-5 KY team 21-0
2018: Beat 10-3 Florida team 36-17

Good try though.

Tennessee football is 11.5-point underdogs in its critical SEC matchup against Georgia as of Sunday afternoon, according to the FanDuel Sportsbook. The over/under is set at 50.5. That means the sportsbook estimates Georgia will earn a 31-20 victory.

Lines vary pretty dramatically right now for the Georgia-Tennessee game. Some have Tennessee as little as 9.5-point underdogs while some have the Vols as much as 16.5-point underdogs. The radical differences in line is probably due to the uncertain status of Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava after he exited the Mississippi State game with an injury.

They probably are accounting to some degree for Nico not playing.

Agreed...........if it's announced Wed that Nico is a full go, I could see the line coming down. May be a good time to throw some $$$ at the line.

The issue with Kirby and Saban is that they often just had a better team than their opponent coming off a loss. We will see. I clearly understand Georgia being the favorite but they aren't unbeatable. Tennessee matches up fairly well with Georgia, we will need our offensive line to play one of its best games all year.
This...
Nick tucked tail and ran once the portal wouldn't let him stockpile talent and alnost always be the better team from a talent standpoint.

He aint that great when the players across the field are equal to or better tthan his squad with regard to talent. See Miami for more details.
