I could care less if both were left out of the playoffs.I find it strange that there are folks on here who would be upset if the SEC has no team in the top 4. You all seem to forget that last year, the committee dropped Tennessee lower than it had ever dropped at top team so they could eventually land us BEHIND Bama who we beat. I am all for the special teams in the SEC being left out of the playoffs.
I'm not leaving anyone out per se. I just know who the three locks are (imo). The fourth spot is up for grabs. I don't believe in FSU at all. Texas even less. We'll see tomorrow. So who are you leaving out? There are 5 conferences with champions. It is possible that 3 of them will be undefeated and the other one beat BAMA.
One or more of the conferences is left out every year. 2023 may be the SEC's turn.
Tennessee lost to South Carolina or we were in. Blame goes on the team for that. I wouldn't be upset either way. But use some type of logic here. Who's really better than Alabama or Georgia?I find it strange that there are folks on here who would be upset if the SEC has no team in the top 4. You all seem to forget that last year, the committee dropped Tennessee lower than it had ever dropped at top team so they could eventually land us BEHIND Bama who we beat. Thinking it over, I might also have it a bit wrong. It might have taken not only Alabama over Georgia, but also Iowa over Michigan AND Oklahoma State over Texas to have pushed Missouri out…it might be that Penn State is the one at risk of being pushed out by the theoretical Iowa upset.Yeah, that is the worst part. I would enjoy seeing Mizzou crying though.
