I've only seen one in my short life.
I was visiting a cemetery, that has been said to host paranormal activity, about 2 and a half years ago. I really didn't believe in the paranormal and such back then, me and my buddies would just take girls to "haunted" places for another reason for them to hold on to us so we can hold on to them and let our hands get lost. :whistling:
Understand the road to the cemetery is a long and winding back road, if two cars were coming the opposite ways one would have to pull over to the side. At the end of the road it turns into a small loop, and the loop sneaks up on you because of how dark it is out there. The only way to see the cemetery at night is for your car to be parked facing a certain way with headlights shining. We decided to keep those off to increase the "scare" factor.
Anyways, it was a chilly night with a little bit of a breeze. We arrive got out of the car around 0130. There is a small gate which has a chain to connect and close off the cemetery to any stray animals. We stayed inside the small cemetery until 0300 just relaxing and waiting for a "ghost," which we thought would be white as snow with it's arms straightened walking towards us. Well, that obviously never happened and we decided to leave and as I was walking out, about to shut the gate, I walked back towards the center of the cemetery to get one last look at the place. There were two large cedar (I believe) trees in the middle of the cemetery and I was about 5 yards from being in the middle of them, and before I could turn back around to head back to the truck I noticed what seemed to be a dark figure that had the shape of a male, yet I could still somewhat see through it. I could see it perfectly and I still can visualize it like it happened yesterday. For about ten seconds, I couldn't move, blink, talk, I had lost complete control of my body because I was so terrified. I had broke into a sweat and my body was burning up. The figure finally vanished and I turned around and walked to the car and shut the gate. I told my friends about what happened, most of them called bull****, and I don't blame them because I truly believe to believe such a story you must have an experience of your own. That's why nowadays I am interested in the paranormal, I want to know what that figure was and why it appeared to me. I know I probably never will, but I won't stop trying to figure it out.
