You are just as insightful as LG. Care to fill us in on any of the instances where Beck has used incendiary speech?

Actually had a little free time this am and was going to try and help you out. Unfortunately, the are literally scores of example on Youtube alone so I'll just steer you there for examples. Just for illumination purposes, Webster's defines incendiary a "a peron who excites factions, quarrels or sedition". If you don't think Beck meets this criteria, you've never heard him speak.

I'd say Obama fits that definition as well. Actually anyone who has followers is incendiary by this definition.

The "but Obama sucks" defense. Such a rarity in these parts.

Back on point about Glenn. Anyone remember his comments accusing the president of harboring a "deep seeded hatred for white culture?"

So incendiary I can smell the bullcrap cookin'.

Never said he wasn't. Hell, he even gets heckled when speaking to Congress. The point was, to claim that Beck is some poor, simple truth teller that is being "attacked" for his benign opinions is ludicrous.

So you think the libs on campus would like Beck coming around? Romney (Romney may be liberal enough for a pass)?

I'd give him a piece of my mind for scaring the daylights out of my grandma during her final coherent months before she developed Alzheimer's.

Excites Factions? Hell, Richard Simmons would be labeled "incendiary" by that definition.

Come on. Really? It was a fair point about incendiary comments. Some were claiming it's justified when there are incendiary comments.

Yeah Obama got heckled by some idiot, hypocritical congressman, but he doesn't get pied (secret service). He doesn't get shouted down. Neither does Madow. Neither does Olberman. Etc.

Remember the real old lady who was up on stage with McCain and said Obama was an "A-rab."?

That was one of the most depressing things I've seen in American politics. But it was followed by one of the high points, too, when McCain told her "No, he's a decent, family man."

By then, even McCain had enough of the nonsense from the likes of Beck, Limbaugh, etc.

Dude my best friend's grandma (who might as well be my grandma) is the same way. He has her terrified of terror.

As someone with much more experince with LDS than myself, how would you define a "liberal" Mormon?

I guess I don't understand the question. How do you define a liberal Atheist? Or a liberal Christian? To me they are all just liberal.

That's great, but this thread is about the public backlash Beck incurs for his incendiary comments. Obama's a class A bullsh*tter, Olbermann sucks, and Maddow's a liar.

Obama is also our president, and we can't assault the guy. I've scraped things with more self worth than Beck off the bottom of my shoe. He holds no official position and deserves NO respect. Comparing the POTUS with some uber-biased pundit isn't really valid. Obama's not whining like a baby about being heckled.
