Glenn Beck gets heckled at a Hitchcock film, others say he didn't, he cries...

That's great, but this thread is about the public backlash Beck incurs for his incendiary comments. Obama's a class A bullsh*tter, Olbermann sucks, and Maddow's a liar.

Obama is also our president, and we can't assault the guy. I've scraped things with more self worth than Beck off the bottom of my shoe. He holds no official position and deserves NO respect. Comparing the POTUS with some uber-biased pundit isn't really valid. Obama's not whining like a baby about being heckled.

Barry is the most biased, political, divisive president maybe in our history. He hates this country before he took the office. One doesn't want to "fundamentally transform" something he or she loves.

Then what's your point about Beck?

The point being made by LG and others was that "incendiary" people should expect to get heckled, pied, shouted down, and have wine thrown on them, and that these "incendiary" people should just turn the other cheek without so much as a peep of complaint. Afterall, they brought it on themselves by inspiring chunky women to get excited about weight loss.

I do. Just the opposite direction Obama wants to go.

I guess I don't understand the question. How do you define a liberal Atheist? Or a liberal Christian? To me they are all just liberal.

You were referring to BYU so I was following your example. So "liberal" students don't have the right to voice there opinion about who they want to speak on their campus?

Am I the only one that doesn't know who Barry is? Is this an inside joke or something?

You can't be serious. If you love something and it is broken - you fix it. Nice troll attempt though.

Your posts were asking for examples of incendiary speech by Beck as if he'd never done so.

You're coming into the movie halfway through it. I'm not saying that at all.

Most ridiculous POTY worhty.

Ok, but by choosing the least applicable definition of "incendiary" you very much validated the opinion that throwing pies on "incendiary" people is absolutly uncalled for. Sure you proved he was incendiary, but you also proved that being incendiary is not a reason to hate him.

Barack = Barry

And volfanjustin's inexplicable post reminded me of one of Obama's funny speaking gaffes:

"America is the greatest country in the world. Ladies and Gentlemen, it is time for a change."

When the man is willing to use his influence to TRY and convince millions of people that our President hates white culture, he becomes a source of negative energy. Yes, it's free speech, but it's also very unethical and highly divisive.

But does he deserve to get pied? Or shouted down? That's the point.

It's unfortunate. It's not right. But when you get on national TV and say that stuff every week, don't act all shocked when it does happen.

Just to provide the other end of the sandwich, AGAIN, BECK'S HECKLERS ARE IDIOTS.

Beck? Personally, I have no qualms with it. However, in terms of principal, it's wrong. Well, as far as physical retaliation goes.

As for the shouting, he deserves it. He shoots his mouth off 60 hours a week on television, radio, and the internet. He knowingly makes inflammatory statements... he can pay an equal price.
