Tweeted about the Florida and Memphis games last night.

If he has enrolled (or will on the 21st), isn't that a Freedom of Information Act thing, or does FERPA protect it?

I have two hopes:

*the reports saying it's either Arkansas or Tennessee are right.

*the reports saying it's Memphis, Florida, or Tennessee are right.

Very easily when it pertains to impact players and decisions regarding immediate change in the program's capability.....

I would leak it and take the away the thunder of the announcement.....

Stokes has been very straight forward in his recruitment...no curve balls and no misleading goose chases......Pretty up front about it......

Signs tommorrow during the JUCO Signing Day and gets back page headlines at most schools.....

Signs Monday and it is front page news for most....It would be a boast for any program to announce on Monday versus tomorrow...

My source still says he is ours, he says a big hint is in every report that has been released, what one school is always in it? UT.

I don't think his announcement gets back page regardless of the date...

exactly that is why we don't need to speculate.....The decision I truly believe is made, who is the question..The reason for the delay is obvious.....SPLASH and News....Its a marketing trick.....and we all know that the school he chooses is a stepping stone.....I truly believe it is UT because it is the one place where he can have immediate impact with a new coach and better buzz rating.......for his signature....or committment....

Back page no but 2nd page yes. If I was CM I would tell him to wait til the 26th as opposed to Wednesday. Huge news and the program needs to be front page with good pub and Wed it wouldn't get the pub it deserves.

It gets at least 2nd page because UT will push it....That is if the announcement comes the 26th which I think it will....First day of the News cycle versus the bury it on Friday day of it....Who knows....for sure but it is the best time for those who closely follow BB Recruiting Nationally and Regionally.....

What if Dooley makes a hire or gets Mike Davis..the 26th or heaven forbid Rod Wilks transfers. If he wants major headlines then Memphis is his safest bet.

Tomorrow is a huge day in football recruiting. The basketball program needs its own day in the spotlight alone. If stokes is a Vol waiting til Monday is a great PR thing for CM. If your disagreeing with that then you don't have your hands on the pulse of this fanbase.

I've been hearing UT buzz lately. There are still the ones around the program that think he has always been going to Memphis, though. I think Florida is a red hearing, as is Arkansas.

In the end, if I were to pick today, the signs point to UT, but this kid has never been easy to read.

Not that I would put my hands on anyones pulse but the the timing of the announcement is pointless.

Kid wants attention. All programs need good PR. Maximizing those isn't pointless to me. Glad you aren't in marketing!
