Gregg Doyel Shreds UT.

If i'm not mistaken, Tabb was the one that got crossed up on that last shot.....

Can't remember who got picked. Tyler got too far behind the pick, thus taking himself out of the play. I believe Maze and Tatum both had a chance to step in, and stop the ball, from where they were. Obviously, neither one of them moved.

On the contrary, the team was as prepared as they always are for huge games that mean everything to the program.

You may want to know that your prediction of free throws being the difference didn't really get realized.

Ratfarts! Well, my future really never was likely to be in sports wagering.

best analysis i've ever read of a team of self satisfied, unmotivated, would be super stars. one old coach's saw goes, 'i'll take a want-to over a natural any day of the week.' looking at pearl's latest team, you can appreciate the truth in that comment. i don't know how many of these guys will ever cash a n.b.a. check, but i'll give 'em one thing: they've sure got the middle of the season n.b.a. attitude down pat.

I had to work and watched none of your game, but I gather from his comments and from some of the others that the team seemed ill-prepared and did not take advantage of UT's advantage in the front court, settling instead for low percentage shots from the perimeter.

Is that a Pearl issue or a player issue?

(Note: This is not meant to be antagonistic in the slightest. You guys got to the Dance. My team is down the road in the parking lot at the 7-11, getting their rocks off by lighting ant hills on fire with the other losers)

I think Chism spent more time behind the three point line than he did in the paint. It was that bad.

Of course, we also allowed them to consistently get wide open 15 foot jumpers.

My gripe is that Chism hard switced that top screen the whole game. That's patently stupid.

You are absolutely correct. This team switches on every pick, like everybody on the team can guard any position. Of course, our point guard did not fight thru a pick all year either.

Hey, at least the Gators are representing the SEC well by thumping the U tonight, 74-60.

Of course, I had to look for 15 minutes and wade through 8 internet pages of ads for sports drinks and sunscreen to find the score.

I hope they win the tourney. I like Billy D.

You know, I've been getting increasingly harsh in my criticism of Donovan for the last couple of months -- and I'm still worried that things aren't going to be the same after what happened with the Magic -- but a guy on local sports radio made some good points the other day about how successful he has been at Florida, making the tourney like 8 or 9 straight years, with a Final Four and two national championships since I think he said 1996 or something.
