By the way, your translation of Matthew 5:18 is debatable. "Donec omnia fiant" does not necessarily mean "fulfilled" and is translated "until all be" in accordance with the Vulgate.

πληρόω appears in Matthew 5:17, not 5:18. Why would a different word be used to signify "fulfilled" (esp. when it does not mean fulfilled) just one sentence apart? It is quite ridiculous if taken literally.

I have no idea. I do know that Christian nations enforced extreme religious oppression against Jews, Muslims, and other Christians all the way up until about 1950. Now the religious oppression is not as overt, but there are still distinct traces of it.

I think your point is that it is an irrefutable fact that Islam teaches violence, right? I shake my head because it's a overly simplistic way of looking at Islam.

No, my point is that Islam does call for violence against nonbelievers/infidels and i certainly do not claim to be a Islamic scholar, but don't sit there with a blind eye and pretend that that violence, hatred, atrocities are performed daily in its name and under its teachings. Whether the text is being interpreted right or wrong.

At what point will people call a spade a spade. There is simply volumes of proof.

How do you define Christians? I define them as people who believe Christ to be the son of God and savior of the world. I don't think it requires anything else. What do you think?
