HBO's "Game of Thrones"

I don’t think any main characters die next week. Brienne or Davos would be the biggest names to die next week.
Even little Lady Mormont will be in the fight... there are so many ways they can go with this Battle Royale. I hope those two make it... and Grey Worm too. If someone has to go, let it be Jorah. Vegas has odds on who comes out alive.

Ok the teaser said the WW are already here. I don’t think we had the night king in the lineup at the end. I think he’s in the vault. They keep talking about how safe the vault is, I think he’s a stark and knows a secret entrance. Boom. Night king brings old dead starks back. Just my 2 cents and some other fan theory.
He definitely wasn’t with those dead guys on the dead horses. He’s tooling around on his undead dragon. The battle at Winterfell could just be a prelude to the war.

Tyrion is going to be in the vault, right? I don't underestimate anything with this show.

It does seem to suggest that is what Dany was talking about

Just guessing but that little gathering around the fireplace was our chance to say goodbye. I doubt more than 2 of them make it out of this battle. Nice scene with Jamie knighting Brienne.

People are going to complain about this episode and I do understand that. I ****ing loved it.

That was the last episode before a lot of characters are going to die. It was nice to get those moments with them and the dialogue with them.
Jamie’s atonement. Definitely put him up there on the list to be killed soon

I think the NK is headed to King's Landing. There aren't enough dead in the Stark crypt to make much of a difference in that battle, and wights in small numbers aren't particularly dangerous against armed foes. Plus, seeing Ned and the rest of the fam's reanimated bones would just be unsettling and almost comical.

The older catacombs are collapsed anyway, so that means a few dozen dead at most.

They’re definitely beating the Night King. There is too much other unresolved tension and story to just bury it all with a bunch of deaths in vain at Winterfell. Dany doesn’t believe Jon and his claim, but she’s also already jealous, in the event that it is true. Will she somehow plot against him?

I’ve been telling people at work History will repeat itself and a Stark will again defeat the Night King.

The Night King can only raise the dead he kills.

Not to try and be all religious or anything but someone on twitter said this was kind of like The Last Supper and that feels like a perfect analogy for it

Thoros was killed the ice bear/wight which was under the Night Kings command.

That didn't kill him though. He froze to death.

Also, if wights can only be created via death/injury from other wights/WWs, does that mean they hunt the animals they resurrect and bring under their command?

That’s how they got the ice bear and that huge Wolly Mammath.

I think the night king and 12 or so undead would wipe out those defenseless in the crypt. Then have more of a dead army. Who knows how many they are going to store down there. That’s the “safe place”. The you have dead on the inside and out.

I believe you are right after doing some digging. Or at least there’s no precedent for anyone being turned into a wight without being killed by a wight/WW first. That actually makes it a little more interesting because then it almost becomes virus-like as the capacity to be “wightified” isn’t inherent in all of the dead.

Poor Tormund. He’s never gonna get any off Brienne. I also loved the line from The Hound to Beric about chucking him over the wall.
