It has.. In the show... Plenty of posts everywhere supporting that...It has not.
I havent read the leaks and wont if I can help it. I expect it to end with John sitting on the throne and that would get me a little salty only because it is too easy.Fair question..at this point out of pure morbid curiosity to see if the leaks I saw were completely true (so far 100% for the last two epsiodes) I will watch to see if they actually go through with the ridiculous ending that those leaks say happen...if they are...all of you guys are going to be just as pissed as I am right now at the creators of this story...so far the leaks are 100% true.
What's to say you are not wrong? Have you read the books? Her character is pretty well laid out as ruthless indeed, capable of harsh violence as a show of strength, but also compassionate too. A weak minded genocidal life hating maniac...nope. I mean they made her suddenly pure evil...that is ridiculous.Non sequitur. What's to say you all didn't get caught up in that? In no way am I saying you are the only one.
Is someone that commits violence/an atrocity because of their compounded losses or because of the degradation of their mind PURE evil? That is a hard sell imo. What's to say you are not wrong? Come on Butchie...you calling me out for being a big meanie is the pot callin the kettle black. You have made your fair share of aggravated assault posts..So you have a Targaryen type relationship with your siblings. Fictional stories and recruiting set you off about the same.

Pretty apparent the books and show parted ways in several things. What's to say you are not wrong? Have you read the books? The one event though, that really seemed to trigger her paranoia, was learning of Jon's lineage as a Targaryen. This was the first real challenge to her legitimacy to the Iron Throne. So, maybe this is who she always was but just hadn't been challenged yet?It has.. In the show... Plenty of posts everywhere supporting that...
My initial reaction was her turn happened really quick... And the last couple episodes it was...
But looking at it now as more people have posted all the reference material... Yeah I can see the path to where she is now... It was there the whole time.
Her whole dynamic changed tho once she gets to westeros.... Most trusted friends and advisors... Gone. Relationship with Jon.. Gone. Two dragons gone....Realizing there's no one necessarily needing liberating and no real path to win hearts and minds in the South...
She was finally allowed to act on her own merits, unchecked. Varys and Sansa knew what was up. Even tyrian knew...
Everyone knows now.
And that would be bad because...? You can accept Dany as the mad genocidal queen because you buy that it has been vaguely seeded throughout the story, but you could not take Jon Snow being the best result to rule...even though you know it has been strongly...and you just said it was..hinted that he is the end result from the beginning...curious. So what in the world is happy or Hollywood about that ending..there is nothing about this turn of events "Happy"John is and has been the main character of this show. It ending with him sitting onthe throne is too easy, as I said.
Oh I definitely think that was a big deal. And she knew it...I think that's why she basically begged him to not tell anyone... At that point she knew that's not something they could overcome no matter how much Jon promised everything would be ok...The one event though, that really seemed to trigger her paranoia, was learning of Jon's lineage as a Targaryen. I don't think either one winds up on the throne. She dies, maybe he does too... But I think the throne goes vacant and the game starts over with new players. And that would be bad because...? You guys can't have it both ways any more than I can.
I can accept it, it makes sense from a narrative perspective. It wouldnt be my favorite possible ending but that's fine. And that would be bad because...? I do, and I already did expect one or both to die a loooong time ago. I don't think the Iron Throne will exist anymore, and I am on record saying that a loooong time ago. I just wish they didn't go full character destroyer mode on Dany. There were other ways to kill her than this that would have satisfied everyones bloodlust.I don't think either one winds up on the throne. She dies, maybe he does too... I don't think either rule in the end, and I haven'tfor a long time. But I thought that it would be a better, and more plausible ending than the one the leaks say they have planned...I'm serious...it is ridiculous.I can accept it, it makes sense from a narrative perspective.
