When the ashes were falling in KL it looked like snow - thought about Dany's vision in the House of the Undying where the throne room was roasted and "snow" coming down. Could be ashes; could be Jon Snow. Either way, her vision was on point.
Agree with others that we've seen the potential to go ape shizz from her. In Qarth when she was trying to get ships from the rich guy (not the Xaros) she went on and on about her destiny - she's been convinced since early on that the IT was hers and nothing would stop that pursuit. When she was betrayed and "aunt-zoned" (TM GrandVol) by Jon she had nothing left to be the "good" ruler. The 7K would not accept her unless she demonstrated why they must. The destiny + the dragon being awaked (Targaryen temper tantrum) led to the destruction. She went on a binge. It was revenge against Cersei AND the betrayals from Jon, Tyrion, etc.
WILDCARD: Bronn is still mucking about somewhere. Hard to imagine they wrote in him showing up at WF with the crossbow and all his histrionics if he wasn't going to play some role.
good stuff, and i'm still going wiht the snow in the throne room as a metaphor for Jon. could be ash. but i'm sticking with Snow. lol. When the ashes were falling in KL it looked like snow - thought about Dany's vision in the House of the Undying where the throne room was roasted and "snow" coming down. Let's be honest, Jon isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. He had the deer in the headlights look after Dany's burn binge started and kept it through the end... I would expect that at first but I wanted to see some emotion too. He pretty much just stood there with that same helpless and completely dumbfounded expression on his face... like me watching a Tennessee vs Alabama football game.

Bronn was another one of the WTF rushed stories that didn't make sense. When the ashes were falling in KL it looked like snow - thought about Dany's vision in the House of the Undying where the throne room was roasted and "snow" coming down. "Promise not to tell anyone!" "Ok!"
3 minutes later: "Hey family members, I need to tell you something that you have to promise not to know, even though 2 of you really, really, really seem to hate Dany. Cool?"
Sansa: "I plomise."
That look of horrified realization was actually better than her death by far...Seeing that stupid smug look wiped off of her was priceless...well actually it was a horrible price paid to see it, so I take it back.Lena is a fantastic actress.
Theon is probably the only character who I felt had a truly epic story arc and was well acted throughout.
