HBO's "Game of Thrones"

I don't think Jon agreed not to tell Sansa & Arya. Dany basically left mad cause he wouldn't promise her to keep it a secret.
he didnt. which is what confused me about the whole "Jon betrayed me" gripe. He betrayed you by telling his family who he is? It is completely unreasonable of her to ask him to forget who he is and think that she deserves something that, by blood she does not. The moment she reacted that way a few episodes ago, I was off the Dany train. I was like "later bitch, dont fall off yo dragon on your way back to essos. ho"

Lena is a fantastic actress.

Theon is probably the only character who I felt had a truly epic story arc and was well acted throughout.
Aiden Gillen was also very good as Littlefinger but I realize that book readers will say his character was better developed in the books. He was still one of the better characters in the show. I also liked Diana Rigg as Olenna Tyrell. Her send off perfectly fit who the character was.

Aiden's actually did a great job as Littlefinger. especially aesthetically

I liked that feisty old lady.

lol. but there was a certain level of sympathy for her. she knew what was on the table going forward, depending on how he handled that informaiton. right or wrong, in her head, she had it worked out that if he would just not tell, things would just work out great.

if he did, then it was like pushing a boulder down a mountain, no way to stop the inevitable.....

that part was sad. then she let out the "let it be fear then", and you knew.....she gone.

this has always been part of her problem, most everything is an "either/or" proposition....no gray area to work. one of the reasons i think she really struggled with Tyrian and varys...both of whom always wanted options....not ulitmatums.

agree on both accounts.

Hope Jon remembers that side of himself that hanged the traitors before long..He might might not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he can be a badass when he needs to be. This dude has literally died to save life, and risked his own life over and over again to save life. I can imagine the pure horror he felt at watching all the people he had tried so hard to save get roasted by the woman he supported.

I hope he kills her. It needs to be him and no one else.

One major thing that has always irked me about Dany is her stubborn black/white outlook on all things. It's probably why I was never fully team Dany, I've been team Jon since he asserted his leadership abilities in the Night's Watch.

He has shown a weakness for babes... He was not going to shoot Ygritte. I think he would have taken an arrow himself first... but then Ollie took the shot.

I thought he gave a nod. Then again nods don't seem to mean a lot to her.
She shouldn't have been surprised that he told Arya and Sansa and it's silly to think of that as a betrayal. This blind ambition for the throne must have always been there. She just hadn't been challenged yet (since her brother was killed in season 1, she has always thought of the Iron Throne as being rightfully hers). Many fans (maybe even a majority) will not accept her for being the ultimate big baddie of the show. They will think of it like McGill is... though maybe not as passionately.

They (and GRRM) had to do this so that Jon could be released from his vows.

The point is that sometimes the plot armor is thick enough that they have to come back. I wasn't privy to the directors' comments post show so I thought that Cersei might have had a reason to come back.....so that maybe Drogon could cook her for dinner.

I had to look that up. Then I remembered.

I thought they were probably nice out of the holsters as well.
