Given that they were still casting people in November, it wouldn't surprise me if the show ends up not coming out in June (when GoT ends). My gut tells me it may end up coming out in September or even worst case January 2016. I hope I am wrong.

Can't wait. The first one was top shelf. The second half of the season was about as good as anything that I've watched on television.

Harelson and McConaughey really REALLY set the bar high. That's an A-list cast, I hope they live up to it.

How weird is it that season 1 seemed to have some sort of hidden, crazy mystery the writers had masterminded and then it just turned out to be a janitor. Somehow nobody was disappointed that I know of. I heard people in the interwebz but nobody in here (that I remember) and nobody I know.

I think the show definitely hinted at there being more involvement than just the janitor, but Rust even explains in the last episode, you don't usually get all the bad guys in the real world. I think people who were disappointed expected them to get all the answers and all the bad guys, and when that didn't happen, they just assumed it was only the janitor.

If you watch the vice, you can see how the real story parallels the show in that aspect.

I've always said that I felt it was an extremely average (not necessarily bad) ending to an otherwise amazing season.

For me, when I was about 3/4 of the way through the season it was like I was watching the greatest show of all time...something truly new and unique. Then it just turned out to be a really good detective show.

I don't remember watching trailers for the first season, because I started watching it a few episodes in, so I may have thought its trailer was meh.

But I will say I do kind of agree with you that the trailer didn't blow me away. It will probably be a solid show, but that trailer looked like a typical cop show to me.

The bad thing about this show is how high they set the bar season 1. No matter how good the following seasons are, they will more than likely pale in comparison.

To be fair it was just a teaser. I'm sure we'll start seeing some full length stuff soon that will tell us more.

Started rewatching Season One. Gonna look for Easter eggs and other clues that I missed the first time through.

Yeah my wife wants to watch the first season because everyone at her work has told her how good it is. So I'll probably be re-watching it with her. I'm sure I'm going to catch a boatload of things that I missed the first time around.

Watching some of the making-of shows regarding season 1,I was surprised at the trouble they went to in adding easter egg and hidden clues throughout. Very fight Clubbish
