Helmet color for new "smokey" uniform

I'm okay with changing the helmet for 1 or 2 games a year. I like tradition but even traditions started from scratch just like these uniforms.

But what I like don't count, it's whatever the kids like as long as the real school colors are incorporated.

You can't have a matching uniform including kicks and not change the helmet, its just not something you do. Rather not have the smokey at all if we don't change the helmet, real fan, just saying.

The new uniform is ok, I think a grey or Orange helmet would look cool with the grey uniform. Also that grey jersey will look good with white or Orange pants. Also I think we should bring back the black jersey, since black was our original school jersey color. The black jersey would look good with the white,Orange and grey pants.

Should NEVER make a helmet change. We have the best and most recognizable helmet in all of college football.

1 game uniform changes are one thing. However, you don't mess with the helmet.

Did I miss where someone said smokey would be just one game this season? Also, there are people that live in tennessee that don't know the difference between texas and tennessee helmets, sad but fact.
