Hello peoples. Sorry I haven't been posting as much in here, but honestly, I started to feel like every post was me whining. The frustration of everything built to a head, so I felt the need for a break from the serious. I wish I could say I was hunky dory, but that would be a lie. Complications still continue, and I have to find ways to deal with them. That's life, I guess.

Hey bud. I'm hoping to get back that way soon, but still don't have a timeframe. Doctor's appointment tomorrow. Hoping they'll have some new answers for me.

I'm starting a new soap opera, Liver Die (Live or Die). Sounds soap opera like to me, lol. Anyway, getting serious, at midweek, there was a glimmer of hope I was finally going to get to go home to Knoxville. But in typical soap opera style, Friday's episode brought a dramatic conclusion to that idea. Last night was spent at the hospital getting another blood transfusion after blood work came back saying my blood count was extremely low. It was after midnight before I got to come back to the apartment. To top it off, I get a call today that another test they ran came back positive, so yay me, I have C.Diff. At least now I know part of why I've felt so miserable. I'm either ready to cry or laugh, I'm not sure which. Oh well, life rolls on.

You will make it thru this. My aunt had a lung transplant and went thru the same types of postop misery plus a stroke. Albeit frustrating they are just setbacks. I know you want to be home, but at least being there affords you access to the best people to help you navigate this trying time.

I must be getting froggy. I just had a wild dream and ended up throwing myself out of bed. Did not feel good, lol. Haven't done anything like that since I was a kid. Even though it bruised a little, I had to laugh.
