EGD complete. Had to have some esophageal varices banded. Throat is sore now, but I still plan on making it out tonight.

I feel so bad for you that you've had to endure such awful pain and agony with your liver disease. I hope and pray they find a liver for you very soon.

Great show. Dr.RosenRosen and I went to high school together. We had a couple of friends with us. I really liked the Pigeons. Because I got knocked out for that EGD yesterday, I couldn't drive, so the doctor came and picked me up. It was a fun time. It was nice to get out of the house for something other than a dr.'s appt. or grocery shopping.

There are days you feel so overwhelmed, that you almost wish the end would come, but then you remind yourself there are people still here that need you. When you can't make it through a day for yourself, you find a way to make it through for them. I'm feeling so rough. I only hope I'll feel better in a day or two.

I hope that I can word this right. I know someone who was on the transplant list and it wasn't until he was on his death bed that they moved him to the top of the implant list. When they transplanted the first liver it failed, so they urgently found a second, and he still going very strong after 10 years with the new liver.

My point is, don't give up hope. Perhaps they'll find you a liver when you need it most, if that makes sense.
