Funny. He runs shallow, 4 verts, y cross, sticks, smash, mesh (Not rly any more) out of different looks. I wonder if those plays have been in the SEC before. Not surprisingly, Spurrier has been copying much of the same crap. Think of a lot of Holgorsen's new stuff as Spurriers PA/Draw game from the 90's which is renown and the packaged reads of the NFL built into run/pass decisions. Instead of packaging beaters on the Y-Z/Split-end sides, he packages draws into plays like y-cross and stick. Way ahead of 95% of CFB.
They run the same offense, you know the record setting one, where holgerson has had a 4000 yard passer for 7 years in a row I think it's up to now. Soon be 8. Briles is a good coach. We've never seen this offense paired with a great defense.
These type of posts mins before our game makes me want to cancel my acct and just say FU to all yall crappy people. Get some sun or take some Vit D maybe yalls lives would be better. Find Jesus whatever works do something. I don't understand this I'm a UT fan but I'll take down the head coach crap so don't want to hear it. Just ridic...
To the OP....get a life. U and ur butt buddy Sab go make love maybe that'll bring a smile to ur face. Loser.

Again, Holgorsen is a fantastic coach and solid recruiter. UT, if Derek Dooley is fired, needs a guarantee. Holgersen has enough question marks with his drinking and the lack of defense that there is a good amount of risk with him.
I live in WV, and watch WVU regularly. As mentioned earlier, the defenses he faces are less than stellar. Besides that, his off field antics would never fly in Knoxville, just think kiffin with a drinking problem!!
Also, he just signed a 5 or 6 year extension.

They burn couches, my friend..I do not believe he would leave WVU.... I don't think people realize it, but WVU football is a part of life in WV.. There fan base is like ours on steroids.... Basically the state shuts down when WVU plays...
I agree about the antics though... He can do anything he wants up there especially if he is winning... I will say though that I have heard that he given up the booze, but could be wrong....
He isn't as bad as Bill Stewart was...That dude was fruit cake.....
Look at like this...
We were burning mattresses when LK left....
Folks in WV were trying to burn down RichRod's house when he left...
lol... Are you saying they drug them off of the front porch...:hi:
Spurrier was doing all this ****, only without the fancy motion and option run game. Spurrier truly was a genius at Florida and the standard for the modern passing game in FOOTBAL, not just college.
Most of what Spurrier was doing revolved around choice -- reading MOFO/MOFC. That was built in to like half of his plays. Mills, Ralph/Lonnie etc. That was nothing new. Spurred on by shooters in the 80s which then reverberated around the league, and later onto college.
Most of his passing game wasn't genius. Just rehashed plays with different terminology. His genius was his ability to let his receivers run their own routes based on safeties and leverage of the corners in college. That was nothing new in the league. His draw action thoroughly demolished teams...until he got to the league and his blocking schemes were ravaged apart. Noticeably by Jim Johnson. If anything, he was behind and stubborn as recent as a few years ago, until he brought in some newer people.

Spurrier didn't adapt at USClite till later, I agree.
What Spurrier was able to do was combine those passing routes, the mesh, stick, etc. into different formations under center and then back it with a solid run game. Spurrier's team ran the ball as well as they pass it.
