How do the Vols want the rest of the SEC to play out?

yea man, like i said worst case scenario is say tickets just shoot up like crazy you wont spend more than 50-75 for LL sidelines, and could go upper deck sideline for 25-30 for lower rows in upper deck.

should have no problem finding great seats in your price range. also, shop around a little and dont take asking price you can almost always get about half asking price. pefect example the tickets i got last week he wanted 35 a piece i told him 40 for both and he finally came down to it. but there will be multiple right by pratt pavilion at the entrance ramp up to TBA, and just ask around to see what each has and what they want. you can play the card of, well this guy has really good seats but is a little high, can you beat his price.

have fun with it, i always do. and like i said its a catch 22, if you wanna get in early to watch warm ups you'll pay more. the closer you're willing to get to game time the more nervous they are and want to sell them so the cheaper you'll get them as well. then again though, they may have sold some of their better tickets. personally, i try to buy around 30-45 minutes prior to the game.

Do they have like a ticket office in case I don't find any from a scalper? I want to try to watch warm ups as well.

we do have a ticket office but they will only have crappy upper level tickets left at that ponit.

i can assure you scalpers will have tickets. they carry around stacks of about 100 tickets each, get there an hour before the game, and talk to some scalpers. you will have no problem finding a good seat i can assure you of that.

Thanks man I'm really excited! This will be my 2nd game at TBA and my 3rd Vols basketball game. Went to Rupp when they had Wall and Cousins. Sucks living so far away I would love to go to every game, but will be worth the drive.

I think the seeding for the SEC tournament will be as follows:
1 Kentucky
2 Florida
3 Vandy
4 Bama
5 LSU
6 Miss St
7 Tennessee
8 Arkansas
9 Ole Miss
10 Auburn
11 Georgia
12 S Carolina

If we play all home games we have a chance to win out. When we get on the road dumb turnovers poor guard play are the norm

Bama wins their last 4 including home vs. Miss St
Ole Miss beats LSU at home
Vandy loses to UF and @UK

This would put us on the opposite side of the bracket as UK. But it would also pit us against UF in the second game. It pains me, but I'll be rooting for Vandy vs. UF in hopes that we get a crack at Vandy first. Beating a team 3 times in a year is pretty tough. Also, Miss St is dangerous. If they're on, they could easily beat the 3 seed - who would likely be UF if they lose to Vandy.

Dream scenario: beat Auburn, Vandy, and MSU (who we should have beat at the Hump) and we'll be playing UK in the Champ game.

I see about a 5% chance that someone other than UK wins the SEC tournament.

I'm very simply hoping UK keeps winning, we win out and that'd put us 3.

We'd also need bama to lose a game.

That would mean lower bracket.....Auburn, Florida, Vandy, Ky route to Championship.

Miss st looks good early vs KY, apparently Sydney decided he wanted to play today.

Need KY to win this game, even though I'd like to see them lose. Blah, it's hard to root for UK.

It's not rooting for UK, it's rooting for the Vols via another game.

I think your train of thought.

With that said, wow! For all those who think UK isn't beatable need to tune in. This is what happens when UK isn't playing at home getting the calls, and isn't hitting from outside. Also, what happens when you play a team that has good experienced guard play. Miss st looks very very good.

Now...with that said. C'mon UK, I'm rooting for the vols via you, so get your head outta your ass and win this game. Miss st isn't even a top 25 team, no reason they should be drubbing you like this.

With miss st loss:IF

we win out
miss st beat bama
uk beats vandy

We finish 3rd. I know it's a few IF's, but everything except us winning out is actually very probable. So let's hope UT gets hot, and starts the run tomorrow night at home vs Ole Miss!!!

GBO!!!

Alabama/Arkansas should be a great game tonight. Literally a toss-up IMO.

Not sure who I want either.... I'm thinking it'd be better for us if the hogs won

It would absolutely be better for us if the hogs won. We are battling bama for 5 th team in NCAA if we win out.

Not only that but they hold the tir break with us so if they're a game back it won't matter.

the SEC doesn't automatically get a 5th team. If we beat them in the SEC standings, neither team is going to the dance

I know they don't automatically, but if we win out we're gonna be 3rd, obviously still not guaranteed a berth.

I still believe though, call me crazy, that 2 wins in sec t gets us in. Well have a rpi around 65 heading into the tournament and 2 wins as a 3 seed with a first round bye, would put you around 45 rpi. At the very least we'd be bubble worthy.

If we win 5 straight games? One of those would HAVE to be against Kentucky. All the regular season conference winners would have to win their tourneys. And then it'd still be unlikely we get in. JMO
