How in the world..

1.) You believe the main appeal to become liberal is because of blame?

2.) Yeah, those media outlets that reach 10 million out of 290 million wields a lot of power!

1. Yes, guilt is one of the main tricks used by democrats to buy votes. If you can't see that, you're blind. Is it the only one? No. is it the main one? Who knows, but it is a MAJOR tactic that they use, no doubt about it.

2. Media comes in many forms. I'm not sure which outlets you're referring to that reach 10 million people, but every single person in this country encounters media in one form or another, not just ten million people as you suggest. It's more than just the news networks, it's everything.

1.) The main strategy for the democrat party to gain votes is to oppose Republican Policy, that is how it has been for 200 years.

2.) So now you believe all "media" exposure has a liberal agenda?

You and Kirby need to hook up!

:eek:k:

You have no compassion for people?

You have a warped sense of the country and the world.

Having compassion for someone is vastly different than saying it is the govermnet's job to solve everyone's problems. The government is largely incapable of solving anything. The democrats hijack people's compassion and use it to buy votes by promising to fix all the problems that everyone is so compassionate about. The fact is, the government can't really fix anything.

1.) I agree the government has no business attempting to fix any thing.

2.) What do you base your guilt theory on?

Democratic strategy is based on opposing Republicn Policy......

Not all, no, but the majority of the media that the ignorant masses are exposed to.

Ok, so we have limited it to news media and news print?

That limits viewership to a few million........

That is a small portion of the voting populace.

If you want to further the mass majority of news media or print is geared toward Republicans.......

So Republicans are sheep?

Democratic strategy is based on opposing Republicn Policy......

Anyone who agrees that the government has no business trying to fix anything couldn't possibly be a democrat. That is the entire platform of the democrats: Vote for us and we'll fix all your problems - free healthcare, pay you more (higher minimum wage), get rid of that pesky illegal immigrant tag, fix global warming by outlawing capitalism - you name it, we'll fix it.

As for oposing the Repulican policy, that isn't a policy at all.

i completely disagree. every study has shown that the vast majority (90+%) of newspapermen, anchors, and writers for news programs are liberal. People may get their info online but they get it from cnn.com or nytimes.com. Combine that with writers for tv and film and actors and you have a huge amount of media created by liberals. To think that this doesn't filter into content is just being naive.

Who has the bigger audience?

Take talk radio...... are Republicans who listen to the blow hards sheep?

First of all, I don't think your numbers are accurate. There are over 50 million news papers sold in the US every day. Most of those pepers have a liberal bent. You've got 15-20 million households watching nightly news broadcasts on the three networks (ABC, NBC and CBS). And forgetting news television, what about just your typical TV show? How many people watch TV in general? It's a lot. And there is quite a bit of liberal propaganda mixed into regular TV.

And lets not forget, most importantly of all, you've also got the incredible liberal leanings of the public school system and university system in this country, which almost nobody escapes.

The influence is there.

jamesd, don't take this the wrong way, but I'll bet you don't have a clue about my personal feelings and beliefs

there is a huge difference between people who are openly stating their beliefs i.e. rush and such and those who are creating supposed unbaised "reporting" material and allowing their personal feelings to bias the story. one is sly and manipulative and the other is upfront.

LOL!

You people are great!

Really, I would have never figured that one out.

Anyone who listens to someone else and acts upon the words just because someone said them is exhibiting sheep-like behaviour. However, if you listen because you've already thought through the issues and happen to agree with the speaker, that is not sheep-like behavior.

if you don't think children are influenced by their teachers and TV, I don't know what to tell you. the simpsons is actually a clear example of a show with a definite liberal slant. i love the simpsons, but how many kids watch that and develop opinions on things rather than doing their own research? i don't think it is a coincidence that most young kids are liberals and the longer they get from school and start forming their own opinions the more conservative (on average) they get.

Basically you are giving Republicans a pass?

So when someone calls El Rushbo, the Hannitizer man or the Great One and asks..... who should I vote for, please tell me............... they are not exhibiting sheep like behaviour?

Much can be gleaned from your posts on this board, in the same way that much can be gleaned about my beliefs from my posts on this board.

Oh no, I don't think children are influenced by teachers or tv....... not at all.....

The Simpsons are a clear example of liberal slant?

If you have watched for any amount of time the show satires any one and every thing!

How am I giving Republicans a pass?

Why would anyone call any of those three and ask how to vote? Everyone knows how those three want you to vote.

You are honestly going to type out that you have never heard that on one of those shows?

Now you are not being honest.

let's see the moral compass (lisa) is a liberal. the republicans in springfield are a) mr burns, b) wolfcastle (who is shown to be a complete idiot), c) count chocula(very funny i admit), and d) a rush imitator (always shown to be an idiot). and those are just the obvious examples.

While we talk about a wide variety of subjects here, you can only take so much away from it. You know exactly zero about my personal experience and other reasons for my stances. Granted, you have every right to say what you want about me and believe what you want. It does not make you right. I don't take any of it peronally, but I want you to realize that reading a few post about my political leanings in no way gives you as much insight into my being as you think it does.
