Why would present day whites feel guilty about something that they had nothing to do with?

The democratic monopoly on racism is within their own party specifically the African American vote. As long as they feel "racism" exist they will never switch their vote to the party of the "man".

Though, I do have a theory that will change with the growing hispanic vote.

The democratic leadership will whore off to the hispanic vote in the next 20 years.

In my personal experiences, I have seen racism more prevelant in Ohio than I ever did while I lived in Kentucky.

Because that's what liberals what them to do, and that's what they try to get them to do, through the media and through other devices. The purpose of it is to buy their votes. It goes like this: get white man to feel guilty about what his ancestors did; then convince white man that only democrats will take the steps necessary to rectify the wrong for which he feels so guilty. Result: white man votes for democrat.

Why do so many fall for it, that's my question.

I don't think they do......... why would whites who are already democrat vote democrat because they feel guilty?

Also, you give way to much power to "media" devices.........

Yeah, I have noticed that a lot lately.... to be honest.....

Things like gay people getting married has no bearing on my life whatsoever!

When it comes down to it I care about one thing and one thing only and that is FREEDOM!

I believe people should be able to live their life however they choose and accept the consequences.

That is FREEDOM!

What I think personally, I am a crazy Southern Baptist, has no bearing on in the political world.

Someone has the right to be gay, and I have the right to think they are wrong!

THAT IS FREAKING AWESOME!

I'm saying that the racism card is a very powerful device used by liberals to convince impressionable people who might not already be liberals to become liberals. It is both used on those who are not already liberals to try to convert them, or it has been used in the past to convert some of the current liberal roster.

And if you can't recognize the power of media, I'm not even sure what to say. As much as I hate to say it, this country contains a great many idiots who lack the ability to think for themselves. The global warming hysteria is a perfect example. Most liberals who buiy into this theory have gotten their viewpoint entirely from the endless stream substance-less stories you read in the media designed to terrorize the population. And it works, at least on the idiots. For those who have enough sense to dig a little deeper (not many, unfortunately), it doesn't work quite as well, but the power of the media works wonders on the ignorant masses.

The "fact" post was in reference to my position that the descendants of African slaves brought to America are better off now than they would be if their ancestors had remained in Africa.

if you don't believe the govt has a duty to help out those who are underprivalaged and to tax the wealthy to do this you shouldn't be voting democratic.
