How in the world..

It is an internet webboard, nothing can be taken away and taken seriously.

Well, I certainly wouldn't stake my life on something I learned on a web board, but I would generally think that most people who post are giving their honest opinion. In cases where someone is playing devil's advocate, it's usually stated outiright or patently obvious.

While we talk about a wide variety of subjects here, you can only take so much away from it. You know exactly zero about my personal experience and other reasons for my stances. Granted, you have every right to say what you want about me and believe what you want. It does not make you right. I don't take any of it peronally, but I want you to realize that reading a few post about my political leanings in no way gives you as much insight into my being as you think it does.

your avatar certainly sends a message, no?

Really?

:good!:

let's see the moral compass (lisa) is a liberal. the republicans in springfield are a) mr burns, b) wolfcastle (who is shown to be a complete idiot), c) count chocula(very funny i admit), and d) a rush imitator (always shown to be an idiot). and those are just the obvious examples.

So you are not going to cite the examples of the liberal characters who they make fun of?

Why is that?

certainly, but I wouldn't come out and say "you support McCain, therefore you are..." either

My logic when I posted "I bet you feel sorry for . . . ." was simply to hit on a few of things that Obama believes and, therefor by association, you probably do as well. It wouldn't be shocking to learn that you don't support 100% of what Obama beleives, but I assume you agree with him more often than not, or you wouldn't support him. Just drawing a fairly obvious conclusion.

i think if i supported mccain enough to change my avatar on a tenn football messageboard to a picture of mccain that one could certainly draw some conclusions as to my politics. if we were on a political board i would agree with you.

I'm voting for Dwight Schrute so I guess I'm the only one with any sense on here.

one can't be of a stable mind and root for a team that hasn't gone to a new years bowl for 60 years trust me.

Has it really been that long? You're a good sport, I'm glad your on this site even if we disagree.

wow, the mildly more civilized version, yet equally weak, of the Springer-esque, "y'all don't know me"

thx.

yes it has been that long. most of it has to do with our piss poor bowl lineup. in any other major conference the #2 get's a jan 1st bowl. so we surely would have gone in 1975 (co-conference champ), 1990 (second place), 2004 (second place [would have gone to the rose bowl under the current bcs rules]) and 2006 (co-conference champ).

I'd rather be a Republican nut job than a Democrat with no nuts and no job.

You have the wrong perspective...... the democrat has the better end of the deal. You work and he gets the benefits of entitlement programs for free.

Who is really the loser in the situation?
