Not saying his going to take over for Slive this year but he'll get a job at the SEC office soon and Meyer will become AD of UF. But if you look closer, Meyer and Foley have discussed this since before the FSU game, which is the rumored first ER visit. A few things have been in place that will shock many people. This hire will not go outside of UF connects and coaches under Meyer. People think its going to Patterson or Muschamp but look for it to be Stoops,Whittingham, Mullen or Strong. I'm saying Strong because of his history with the UF and not just Meyer. The fact that Strong has only signed a "agreement of terms" and none of the coaches took jobs at other places while the better opening were out there. IMO the coaches have been told they have a spot on the staff. Meyer being involved in the hiring and still around the program leads me to believe that he will be the next coach at UF even UL "insider" think he's good as gone. In the end UF may lose some recruits like Shaw, Powell and Elam but with Strong, UF will gain a few.Foley to commish will never happen. How bout fulmer for the Gators? Lol
Elam and chaz green to us. Maybe brown too.

Whittingham's 47-17 record, including a perfect 5-0 in bowl games, after taking over the Utes from Meyer looks pretty good. Meyer, who will be part of the search, has great things to say about his former protégé as a coach. Check your facts dude.....also Charlie hasn't signed his contract with UL so again this job won't go outside of Meyer's coaching chain or Stoops.Whittingham was coaching at BYU (where he played in college as a LB), Utah's biggest rival, when Urban was there. The only reason he left for Utah was because BYU offered the head coaching job to Bronco Mendenhall.
Whittingham has no ties to Meyer. This post once again shows your "connections" or "insights" are nothing more than conjecture and internet gossip.
