A UT Student Judicial hearing involving UT junior college football transfer Alexis Johnson was set to begin today at 3 pm. Johnson was suspended from UT team in February after being charged with false imprisonment and aggravated assault. On April 21, judge reduced charge to misdemeanor domestic assault, dropped false imprisonment provided Johnson is trouble free for 6 months. If Alexis is back on the practice field next week and if Shy continues to improve, our DT depth issues may just disappear.

KMac, Tuttle, Vickers, O'Brien, Johnson, Picou.....that looks like quality depth.

Not to dampen excitement, but Hyams said no decision was expected today and he didn't know how long it might take. That wasn't in his tweet, he said it on air. Don't shoot the messenger please.

He actually performed the same both years, and he was the leading receiver in 2015 (Pig was leader in 2014). But that's neither here nor there. Johnson is big enough to stuff the run and cause disruption, he doesn't have to be in tip top condition.
