I bet he'll be getting close to 30 within 2 weeks. He played 17 against Ky and had 26 tonight.
UGA wanted it more in OT. Both teams were fatigued, but UGA looked fresher to me. We seemed to lose our edge some in OT on the defensive end. We should've won that game in regulation, but boneheaded pass after boneheaded pass did us in.
Who was he guarding that lit him up? When did his man get a rebound?
I recall a late rotation on the baseline on Skylar's blow by, but Hall did the same thing twice. Otherwise, let me know.

Now having laspes on D = getting lit up.
Stokes lost his guy multiple times. This either led to his guy scoring or assisting another after a rotation.
Of course, Stokes also didn't get every rebound he could have. They just weren't as late in the game, therefore memorable, as Hall's.
I'll have to take your word for it. The others weren't worth remembering, including the one that counted at the end of regulation.
That was the effect of a great call from the Georgia coach during the timeout to switch to zone from the man defense. The play called by Martin was called with the assumption that Georgia would still be in a man defense. Tip your hat to Georgia's coach. Sometimes the other team makes great decision. There's no way that Martin could have known that would happen.
Late rotations are part of defense no matter who got blown by. A player must be prepared when that happens. Obviously Coach Martin's confidence in Stokes defense was affected by this. That will change as Stokes gains experience.

Not in a tie game on the road. You have to play for the win. At home, take it to OT. On the road, use if you're taken off guard by zone.
Who was he guarding? If he kept losing him, you must know who it was. Your analysis is incorrect. He made a couple of mistakes, but Hall made more and Cam was a multiple offender as far as rotating.
Op's point is moot because he played more than 26 seconds in OT.I understand. The point is that Stokes played as good, if not better D than Hall tonight anyway. So the freshman thing doesn't matter as much because of Stokes IQ, which blows by Halls.
Honestly, I bet CM is kicking himself and got in the heat of the game and knows he should have had him in quickly, if not starting in OT.
Again, I like CM, but there is really no reason he should have confidence in Hall doing much of anything positive.
Yeah, and then the young team gets confused, doesn't know which D they are in, and next thing you know, it's two seconds and we jack up a 30 footer.
Heck we got a decent look at the end of regulation.
He was on the Montenegro(in) guy for a bit. They rotated when he beat Stokes on a few plays.
He also guarded Williams and Thornton.
