He's won the league 7 out of thirteen years. I would say that's pretty good. He's had a couple of "down" years but overall he's been spectacular. Ten double digit win seasons, and all the players that have gone pro, he would be a grand slam hire.
Grudens thread is 9,900 posts of people that don't know what they are talking about, so all they do is spout off bullcrap. The other posts are wishful thinking.
I think they go after mike gundy. He could be lured away from OK. St. More money, better tradition, best conference, better facilities and a larger fan base. It would be an opportunity for him to prove himself in the SEC and he would be the splash hire UT was looking for after you know who( he shall not be mentioned) left so abruptly. He also has had one of the best offense's in the country since he got there, although his defense's lack a little to be desired, but should be fixable with a little talent

T. Boone Pickens negates most of what you posted.
How's that? because he has money. Ok I'll give you the money aspect, he could bank role Gundy. Everything else is by far in UT's favor. They didn't even become realvent again until he got there. The last time they were that good was when Barry Sanders was there(correct me if i'm wrong). I cant even name the last coach they had or the one they when BS was there. If he's serious then he could be ours no matter what Pickens says. This all hypothetical by the way.:salute:
