your gonna pat yourself on the back before the job has even started? wow that takes some nerve. even the biggest football homers ever are concerned about our football program returning to what it was.
What are you drinking or smoking? I need some of that relief, dude.

Oh Hat you're such a genius!!!! Why don't we just hire you as our next AD?!?!?
Can we afford it?

When Miller took over, all of those sophs out there kicking ass tonight were committed to USC, he was the fourth head coach in four years, and the 'AA was investigating the Desert Classic. It's nowhere near that bad at UT right now.

So really it took six years. Following this example we have three more coaches to hire after this one.

explain what you have a problem with, or is that your normal response to someone that doesn't agree with Hat?
My problem is why you would mix the football coaching situation with the current basketball situation. I don't have a "normal response" regarding what anybody thinks of Hat's opinions. In that line of thought, since you brought it up, do you feel obligated to monitor who agrees with or doesn't agree with Hat? And what exactly is your interest in those peoples opinions?

so you really couldn't figure out I was calling Hat a homer because he thinks we will automaticaly get a good coach and basketball will go on as normal, compaired to even the biggest football homers that are concerned because they know it isn't easy. Hence he is more delusional that the football homers. Also I was responding to Hat when you commented on my response so I figured you was a Hat holder. that help you out?

Whether or not Tennessee has comparable tradition to Arizona is irrelevant to this formula.

It's a simple equation. Commitment by the administration + Hiring the right guy=Big success.

My question: Is this administration sufficiently committed to the program?

People agreeing with hat's opinion makes them a "hat holder" about as much as someone sporting a mustache makes them a Hitler supporter.

No it's not as bad right now, because we haven't gotten our punishment and no players have left the team. It's a major stretch to compare UT basketball to Arizona basketball.

These have been my thoughts exactly. I think the administration should go for Brad Stevens due to his penchant for wanting to be close to home and the proximity to Indianapolis, not to mention his coaching ability. But whoever they decide to go for I hope they lock in on their top choice and don't take no for an answer. Settling for a third or fourth choice will set the program back for several years.

Bring Layla back.:cray:

If you have been to McKale Center you would see it is one of the oldest most outdated arena in the Big 6 conferences. The Hump at Miss St is nicer. We have some of the nicest facilities in the country and all you have to do in the SEC is finish second behind UK and you are a superstar. Money talks. Give Jamie Dixon a wad of cash and when we are in the final 4 no one will be complaining.
