This guy’s arrogance is going to be his undoing. I think he thought he was the smartest guy in the room and everything that’s coming out is showing us that he was far from that. I’m anxious to have the affidavit released to see just how much he F’d up. Not only that, but hopefully it’s a slam dunk case that can maybe give the families a little bit of closure .
I’m wondering if he had a bad interaction with one of the girls socially or if one them reminded him of a woman he had been rejected by at some point. From all indications, he was incredibly socially insecure, was referred to as “creepy guy” on one the local bar’s POS systems, and had been bullied during high school. It sounds like he wasn’t exactly well received by women at all. I think you combine that w/ a book smart, arrogant individual who wants to show the world how smart you are and he finally snaps that this is the disastrous result.
It’s hard to argue with that logic. I have no idea, unless he was just completely shocked that someone else was there and didn’t know what to do. I feel like this false narrative has been established that this guy was supposed to be cunning and he was able to see all the corners because he was a Ph D student studying criminology . In actuality he was never as smart as he thought. He’s just an insecure, psycho who is probably a 28 year old virgin .
