To be quite honest, I think I like him more cause he's black (im a 20yo white male). The last 2 white coaches were not great by any means. I don't know how race plays in recruiting, but I hear he's a great recruiter. CCS for me!

I don't give a **** what race he is. The OP is another clueless buffoon. I just want a coach that can win. I don't care if he is Asian, Middle-Eastern, or a Dolph Lundgren look-a-like.

Part of me thinks he has recruits waiting, that he told to hold off, who are going to follow him if he leaves.


I also think he would do very well here and only needs a hot shot OC which UT will pay for.

One thing I will say with race and coaching- if u don't think it effects recruiting, u are nuts.. Not saying its right, but sometimes recruits and their families r more comfortable with a coach of same race..

Talking about race card. Blacks have BET, Ebony magazine, black nurses association and etc... Imagine if we had White t.v., you would have Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton screaming with the NCAAP.

Really? We have all white schools and sports leagues? This country contradicts itself, and needs some work if they really want all men equal like they say and should.
