If you think that we are going to get....

Great idea since we were blessed with such quality at LB last year. I don't know why we didn't play a Wide Tackle 6 with 4 linebackers and just let EB cover everybody.

He's like water. He simultaneously covers the majority of our planet.

Hell, we didn't even need other DB's...just needed Eric Berry.

He doesn't care. He just doesn't want to give any Kiffin any credit at all. No matter how silly it is. Hey, by the way, Jim Chaney was the only reason Jon Crompton became a draft pick.

Heath Shuler says that Chaney helped Crompton more than anyone. Kiffin was our coach for ONE freaking year, then bolted, and tried to steal our players on the way out. POS, IMO.

He didn't even half-ass his departure from Knoxville.

Are you kidding?? Have you seen the presser he held on the way out?? That was the most half-assed thing I have ever seen. Bud Ford had no clue, of course that is par for the course for Bud, IMO.

So? What is Shuler suppose to say? People would throw stones at Kiffin if he said that Chaney was the main reason. And I like Chaney. But to say that Kiffin had nothing to do with is prepostorous...why do you think the Cromptons stood by Kiffin even after he left (read it in a govolsxtra article).

and about the bold part...Really? When did that happen? I didn't know that...Doesn't matter...he still was doing good things while he was here, and before January 12th, you were driving the bandwagon.

I thought it was pretty clear he was going full-on ass the entire time. Didn't waste any time getting to LA.

Who cares what he did really?? That's why I get like I do with people who defend anything he did. He was a blip on our historic radar, and he didn't accomplish ANYTHING while he was here, IMO, except help get us more points for the Fulmer Cup. In fact, did we win that last year??

I don't really think we were in the running. I'd say the guy going on and on about the last staff only coaching 3 games seems to care, but maybe I'm just perceiving things wrong.

They got ran by Houston Nutt, Rick Nuheisel, Gene Chizik, and Frank Beamer. The only games we looked sharp in from start to finish was Bama, UF, and USCjr. They focused on those games, and those games only, IMO.

One incident. Wow.

You are right. I hope he utterly fails at USC. But you aren't saying that. You keep saying that he was going to bring the program down and kill it. You are right, long-term (except for our early enrollees) he did nothing. Yet I believe he was going to. Just because he left doesn't mean I change my mind on that like you did.

He had me believing that too, doesn't mean he would have actually done it.

You are right. I mean, I bet they never watched any film on any other game or did anything else during those game weeks.

The hindsight Kiffin bashing is hilarious. He's sleazy, nobody denies that. But to say he "half-assed" it is just pure hypocrisy. Eric was slobbing his nob last year.

And Kiffin tutored Crompton. Chaney is an offensive line guy, Kiffin is a QB guy. Kiffin worked mostly with Crompton during the position activities. If it were Chaney, the Cromptons would still be in love with him and not Kiffy.

They gave up more points to Memphis and Ohio, than they did against any other team. Yeah, seems they were trying there.

Kiffin helped run an offense that got him drafted. Crompton always had the tools, and honestly, I think that Jon accepting Christ as his Savior had a lot to do with it, IMO. Kiffin was a WR guy too, so what is your point??

Memphis was a complete blowout...we had our backups in at the end of the 4th quarter...really want to count that?

And Ohio, we had a let down after a hard fought UF game. We should have played better, and maybe we slightly overlooked Ohio trying to beat UF (which is the right thing to do). You can beat Ohio just by talent and decent coaching alone, which we did.

I'm a Christian, and even I find this totally preposterous. Wow, I can't believe you just went there. You find me anything where Crompton said "When Jesus saved me, I became a better football player" and I'll apologize...please find this for me...
