same to you, buddy boy.

I asked for facts to back up your statement - you have none.

You are making accusations about behavior that has no basis in fact - at least none you can produce.

Forgive me if I prefer that policy not be made based on your gut feelings.

I'm all for the same standards for everybody when proving if a crime was broken or not. If Illegal immigration is such a problem, lets get rid of all of them and not just the hispanic ones.
So you want to pick and choose when the same standard should be applied to people? In other words, are you limiting this same standard ideology only to proving if a crime was broken or not?

What exactly were they asking your minority friends to do?
depends on the situation... Sometimes they've been patted down when I haven't been. They've been pulled over for committing a traffic violation whereas I've committed the same violation with cops around and for some reason wasn't pulled over. Other cases, they've been asked to tuck in their shirt and I wasn't despite my shirt not being tucked in.

If this happens with my group of friends, I doubt it's just isolated.

ask me a question and I'll tell you. this is undoubtedly a set up on your end.

By implying that police will go beyond the law and harass legal citizens and immigrants you are making a blanket generalization about a profession - hmmm what's that sound like; it starts with a "p" and ends with a "rofiling".

Congrats on being so open minded.

Bull ****
exactly my point. it wasn't reported by the media, therefore, I must be making it up.

It has happened and continually happens. Most people don't complain about it, though, because not much is going to be done about it because of people like you.

Never said all police do that. There are rogue ones out there (more than you would ever like to admit) that could care less what the law is intended to do.

Actually my back is the one being broken since I pay taxes, so does that make the illegals bigots? According to your logic, it does.
it does make the ILLEGALS very wrong. I've never denied that. I was talking about LEGALS, though. Way to ignore that and come up with random things that I think.

An officer really asked someone to tuck their shirt in? Seriously, how loud did you and your friends laugh at this officer?

It sounds like BS but perhaps this was at some kind of club instead?

I dont beleive for one minute that your fairytale story of your immigrant friends being mistreated and having their civil liberties walked on is a true story. Do I beleive that it could happen in an isolated event? Yes. But do I beleive that this is something that occurs all the time, no, sorry I dont buy into it.

But we're talking about illegals... you're the only one bringing up legal immigrants. I have no problem with them. Am I still a bigot?

We were going into a club that supposedly had this dress code of tucking in shirts. yet, everybody on the inside didn't have shirts tucked in and the lone black guy was asked to do it.

again to my point, if you had ever seen racial profiling, you wouldn't have the same mindset.

I suppose you would prefer they be led by ill-informed, anti-hispanic bigots.

You are upset that Arizona passed a law that requires officers to uphold Federal Law.

I prefer that those who respect the rule of law lead our children.

There's nothing anti-hispanic about this bill. It's folks like you who spin this to be anti-Mexican. It's not. It's anti-immigrant. It's a FACT that Arizona has an illegal immigrant problem. It's also fact that they are on the border with Mexico. Therefore, chances are, most illegal immigrants in Arizona ARE Hispanic.

It's not profiling, it's fact. How many illegal Europeans do you think we have running around in Arizona?

i've been asked to tuck in my shirt at my club and i'm white. if this is the worst case of racial profiling you can come up with i am truly worried about your sanity.

Doesn't matter. There are some. And since illegal immigration is such a problem don't we need to get rid of all of them.

But, nope, that's not what's going to happen. Legal hispanics are and have had a higher burden of proof than any white guy that's pulled over. And you're ok with that.

Sad day to be an American. I thought we were moving away from Jim Crow. Instead, were heading right towards it again. Thanks republicans!

i had other examples... again, shockingly, you either didn't read them or chose to ignore them.

and here's to guessing everybody else in that club had their shirt tucked in.

every time i've been pulled over a cop has asked for my drivers license. not seeing your logic here.

did he ever deem that license not sufficient in proving who you actually were??? I doubt it.

Hispanics, however, have had that burden. There are plenty of examples out there and I've provided some. You just choose to ignore it and say it's isolated. I couldn't care less if it's isolated (which it isn't) it's unacceptable for one group of people in this country to have a higher burden of proof than others.
