Butch isn't going to ditch what got him here, revamp and tailor an offense around a player with Worleys limitations.
It's playing out like it should.

I thought chaney wouldnt either, I dont expect the same to happen with this staff but I cant tell at this point. Our up tempo offense has been anything but up tempo this far.

We would prob lose that game 100/100 times with this team but we could have at least challenged them some if Worely could just male the easy throws consistently.

Worley doesn't check down he runs a check with me offense same as bray last year

I think he's probably had plenty of support from the coaching staff, teammates and most fans up till now. Sure, some have said he's not the guy from the beginning but I don't think there's been a lack of support for him. There's always a vocal minority. I happen to think we should see what Peterman can do and maybe one of the true freshmen. That doesn't mean Worley is being tossed aside. Far from it. Keep working on him and let him keep learning. Sometimes another qb can provide a spark just because they push their game up a notch when it's a live game situation and other qb's can learn from watching a little bit from the sideline.

Peterman may have a leg up in the confidence category. Jones said he is the first player to arrive at the practice facility each day.

Jones said Peterman arrives at 6 a.m. every morning.

No inside information but here's my understanding of Florida's defense. Last year they were 1st in the SEC and 4th in the country. However, I heard that they lost all but 3 starters from last year. If that's the case, it doesn't sound that formidable for a talented freshman.

........ they've played 2 games. And they lost one of them (to an unranked Miami team). I feel like you have to take the "third best" thing with a huge grain of salt.

i hope this ends up working and isnt knee jerk. nice pass to croom though. damn sucking is getting old. fingers crossed for this coach b/c another decade like this past one we may be the next SMU

Guys Miami is up... Are they ranked now? And they were 24 in the COACHES poll. I live in Florida. I hear everything Miami and gators. Unfortunately... Dont matter how you win, was a big win for Miami. They would beat us. Truth.

I'm usually not a conspiracy theorist, but my first thought after hearing the job was open was wondering if this was always the plan for Jones. By doing this after the oregon game, Florida not only has to prepare for what they've seen of Tennessee so far, but also a new QB and a new scheme to fit a more mobile passer.

I have felt this too, but rather I think it is more like this. I believe Butch is a calculating man and has plans to handle many scenarios. So though it may seem like he knew it all along, he actually had just made plans for several different situations and is now acting on this scenario.
