Think we would get a better leader if they didn't have to raise millions and travel the country for 2-3 years....letting Governors appoint Senators keeps some power at state level and having multiple party forces them to work in coalitions limiting powerYou like the parliamentary system like England.
Nope, not really. Just pointing out that the grass isn't always greener.
Yes. It was appeasement in 1932.The grass isn't always greener because this one time in Germany, a psychopathic murderous monster became Der Fuhrer? Multiple political parties were the culprit, and not widespread propaganda, sweeping toxic nationalism, and oppressive fascism coupled by appeasement from the European powers at be, which is arguably the worst diplomatic policy in history? Yeah man, I guess I can see your point.

So well played.
A more clear and more recent contrast would be the DNC governors vs the GOP governors during lock downs.Biden may not be a radical, but what he would be is a rubber stamp. If we've learned one thing from Obama and Trump, it's the radical difference between letting government agencies run wild with regulations vs. what happens when you take them away.
I've been saying this for years, esp. leading up to 2016. Hillary was going to drive us over the cliff at 88mph and whoever the GOP candidate was going to be would drive at 45mph, maybe stop for gas and a sandwich, and then drive us over the cliff. Either way, their leading us in the same direction. You know trump isn't exactly leading us away from that cliff? The fire is starting to smolder and he's pretty much nowhere to be found. We desperately need an actual leader
(1) hard to know with nations preoccupied with the damn going on and memories of WWI's destruction still alive(1) Absent appeasement, Nazi Germany may have been quelled sooner than it was. (2) Even taking appeasement out of this, you still see my point right? That it's an non-sequitur that multiple political parties inevitably lead to Hitler. (3) So much more went into Hitler's rise to power than just the existence of multiple political parties in Germany at the time.

(2) never heard anyone say it was "inevitable"...clearly we have problems that need to be fixed in our system...but people throwing out multi-party as a "will fix it" (which I hear a lot) may not fix it
(3) of course. See (1) and ToV, tradition of anti-Semitism, militarism, lack of dem tradition, lots of factors

Trump, because the other choice is lawlessness and insane chaos that is propped up by groups with strongly anti-American sentiments!
I see alot from both sides saying they are voting against Trump or Biden, this thread is to tell us why you are voting for your candidate, no mentioning of other candidates.
I didn't vote for Trump in 2016 but plan to this time and while disappointed in his failure to drain the swamp, I like that he will call out the media and I don't think he will put our soldiers in wars that we have no place being in and I feel he is the best choice for me and my families financial future.
