Pretty sure straight talk has the option of using t-mobile or AT&T towers, so coverage should be equivalent to those.
Why? Screw that. Not everyone has a hacker type mind. Screw up, and screw the phone up. Jmo.
One's bad experience with st doesn't mean it's a joke for everyone. As posted earlier, been on st right at year with a iPhone 4, unlimited everything (text, data & minutes) without any problems all for $48+ per month.
Had never heard of sprints netzero so did some research. Nowhere on Sprints site could I find anything on netzero. A search of netzero produced this NetZero is backed by the troubled Clearwire company, which is partially owned by Sprint.
From what was read heres what Netzero offers: a data only package only for the internet with no talk time. consumers will need to buy a $50 antenna stick that plugs into a laptop, or a $100 "mobile hotspot" that allows any Wi-Fi equipped device to connect to the Internet. 200 mb per month is free for a year.
Clearwire's network has a few problems: it's based on a broadband technology that the rest of the industry has bypassed, which means the selection of compatible devices is limited.
Nothing read convinces me that sprints netzero is the best prepay option
All I could find on NetZero is that its a basically a data modem. No talk time. Is there something more that I'm missing. As far as customer service goes for me, not a deal breaker. Haven't had to talk with them but a few times.
Your 4 phones on ST would cost you around $194 including tax if you pay monthly. That would be unlimited talk, text & data on all phones. Not really any savings unless your current 2gb plans go over. ST offers some discounts if bought in multiple month paks.
We are very satisfied with ST for the year we have been on it. We are getting more than what we had with AT&T at a $35 per month savings. Both are using the Iphone 4 that are jailbroken
