For those jailbroken there's an app called movie box that's pretty good. Not sure if its been mentioned yet. Add repo "repo.insanelyi.com" to sources.
Not an iPhone, but an Apple TV question. Are there benefits to jail breaking my Apple TV?
Not familiar with an actual Apple TV but if it supports airplay like the Apple TV box I would just jailbreak my phone or iPad & stream media through those. The last UFC ppv fight we found a tweak that let's you stream through the UFC app without paying.
At that point, when you're at pure piracy, you can accomplish the same thing with equipment that costs a fraction of the price.
Really, outside of tethering with an iPhone on unlimited data, there's no reason whatsoever to jailbreak.
I'm talking about the tv portion of it. Why drop $100 on Apple TV and jailbreak it when your existing computer can accomplish the same thing
So riddle me this. I have ATV 3, Roku XS and Mac computer. I have a buddy at work that does the XBMC thing on his ATV 2 and raves about it. Can I do the same with what I have? Sorry if stupid question...
If your mac is late 2011 or newer runing Mavricks you can Mirror or dual screen your desktop via airplay. So anytging you want to run on your Mac will be up on your TV.
Comes in especially handy for blacked out games on watchESPN. Just use Hotspot Shield on your Mac then goto watchESPN in your web browser.
Me too, maybe. I've been reading a lot of rumors that the plan is to have the 6 be similar in size to the Galaxy. If that turns out to be the case, I'll be sticking with my 5.
I think they will start offereing 2 sizes with the 6. Screen size has been the 2nd biggest smart phone feature request (behind better battery life) by consumers the past two years
Im still on 4S. Im not really a fan if the long and skinny 5. My wife has one and it doesnt feel natural in my hand. Similarly the galaxy is too big. I would like something in the middle
Everything I've been reading says there will probably be two screen sizes, but the small one will still be roughly the size of the Galaxy. If that's the case I'll probably stick with the 5. I don't really watch a lot of videos on my phone, so the main things I like about the 5 are that I can easily use it with one hand, and isn't such a monstrosity that it fits comfortably in my pocket so that I don't have to wear it on a belt clip. The Galaxy and other comparably sized phones meets neither of those criteria.
