Is Trump constitutionally barred from being POTUS again?

All states are equal, but some states are more equal than others.
“Unelected” also seems to be incorrect in most states.

On the other hand, I think the overall point is a good one. Government telling who they can/can’t vote for us only a short step above government telling people they can/can’t vote.

The government tells us you can't vote for someone under 35 or who is not a natural born citizen or who hasn't been a resident for 14 years. Wouldn't this, if the interpretation is correct, just be another one of those qualifications?

Do you see our Constitution as our government?

There’s no subjective element to those other criteria. Whether Trump is 35 years old is an objective fact. Whether Trump is a natural born citizen is objectively verifiable. Whether Trump’s actions constituted engaging in insurrection is debatable.

Sidebar here.
Did you know other cultures and countries assign ages to people differently than we do? I just discovered that a few years ago.

As a lawyer, you know just about anything can be made ambiguous with enough effort. 35 when he runs? 35 when elected by the popular vote? By the electoral college? Sworn in? Is Cruz a natural born citizen? What does it mean to "reside" in the United States, for constitutional purposes?

And the only reason the we are still talking about it is that you just brought it up. It has happen to the Dem's twice and they have moved on. So who is acting like the Adult in the Room.
Trump is the problem because he can't admit he lost to a bunch of low life blue collared liberals. He loss to a group of people and he feels they are not worthy of him. That is the problem.

The only reason the Republican Party is contesting the election is because Trump controls it.

You would think that Trump would have given up on his story about rigged elections for the good of the Party and all his co-conspirators but see where we are now. Mental Illness.
I guess he should have paid someone to create a fake dossier, spied on the Biden campaign and then appointed special counsel to spend tons of time and money investigating the Biden ties to Ukraine and China. What’s funny is Dems impeached Trump for talking about doing it when Dems actually did it. They ran that playbook. It didn’t work but they did finally get Trump out.

MAGA don't have much sense--but it's past time for the country folk to see the gangster for who he is. It's one thing to be or support conservative
politicians and quite another to continue to support a mentally ill, low-life criminal like trump. It makes MAGA look very bad. Trump is a national embarrassment--and it is beyond outrageous and shameful that he is running again. It shows how utterly shameless and ill he is. Find somebody else
to support.

Sen. Bill Cassidy said Sunday he thinks that former President Donald Trump should exit the 2024 GOP presidential race.

“I think so,” Cassidy (R-La.) told host Kasie Hunt when asked on CNN’s “State of the Union” whether Trump should withdraw from the presidential race. “But obviously, that’s up to him. I mean, you’re just asking my opinion but he will lose to Joe Biden if you look at the current polls.”

Using a crutch to change the narrative. LOL Not sure why the Democrats had to do it but they did and it produced in the end what many knew. 4 Indictments. Mommy they are picking on me. Who ever said politics is dirty was absolutely right. It's been going on for years and the change is the Public Exposure (social media, audiences, theories) on a daily basis with "for & against" opinions from both sides.

Bottom line: Do you think Trump Conspired to Overturn the Election? If you do, then you should not have a problem with this Amendment? If you don't, then you are in the minority with a lot of hopium.

First..Trump has not been proven guilty. Two..these will drag out long past election day

J6 probably will be completed with Appeals pending before the Election.
Documents will be after it unless they charge him elsewhere or recuse the Judge. The trial will be started before the election.
GA will be halfway completed clearing out the underlings. Delays but plea outs
NY will be a formality after the election.
Trump will not plea out but he will not be elected President either.
