So we have traded one mad man we could keep tabs on for thousands that we really cant.

The amount of things we did wrong after invading Iraq is staggering .. but now it's a bunch of coulda shoulda woulda that we hopefully can just learn from and try not to repeat the same mistakes.

And honestly if anyone stills buys the official explanation about WMDs as the reason we invaded Iraq then I dont know what to tell you.

I've always thought this would be a likely scenario: They (whatever terrorist group or nation) get their hands on more than one weapon. They light one off somewhere as proof to us (maybe in the Midwest). We get told there are other weapons hidden in several major cities including NY and DC. What would be the effect? Would it matter if the other hidden weapons are really even there? It would be like the movie "Deep Impact" where everyone is running out of town, leaving everything, to get away from an asteroid. Financial and societal breakdown.

I was under the impression that MH370 was stolen by the US, the dead bodies loaded into MH17, then shot down by the Ukrainian air force over eastern Ukraine, and then pinned on Russia.

Did you read the story? We're not even talking about anybody bombing or not bombing anything. We're talking about a tiny country (less than 6 million) that's attempting to snuggle up to a few of it's own citizens and try to talk them off the ledge of going to fight for ISIS.

I'm not about to say it's not worth doing but it's so peripheral to the actual radical Islamist threat it's laughable to consider it an "effective way to fight terrorism.".

Like what? Hugs? You do not get it.

They are not an enemy that can be reasoned with. They only understand one thing, and that is death. Whether it be theirs or yours, it matters not to them. personally, given the choice, I vote for their death.

Being "progressive" is what has led to a majority of the strife on this planet currently. It has definitely led to the creation of a generation of can't do's and morons who suckle at their mom's teat until they are in their 30's.

Man all they need are some hugs, a few scrips from the ol doctor to alleviate stress/anxiety/depression, maybe an education beyond the 3rd grade, some more veggies on their plate, endless pandering to, etc. Yeah..lets treat em like we treat wimps in this country!

Things look good on paper..until you get your head chopped off.

Okay, I'm going to say that I'm sick and tired of social conservatives accusing social liberals of being babies.

Let's get this straight: social liberals certainly have their poor characteristics. Personally, I wish they were a bit more physically in your face instead of verbally. Punching someone in the mouth seems to resonate more with social conservatives.

However, make no mistake. You social conservatives are also a big bunch of whining babies, who also never left your mother's teet. You whine about everything that doesn't go your way. It's like you've never even read a book or something. Never quite left the comfort of the suckle. I don't care if you've served in the military or not. Couldn't give a ****. That doesn't make you tougher than anyone else. Sometimes confronting intellectual truths can be just as difficult.

So, to all whiners, conservative and liberal, this post is for you.

Liberals = talk a big game, theories that look good on paper, lots of hope and misguided optimism, illusions of Utopian grandeur..

Everyone else = realists.
