ISIS has a dirty bomb

True. Im just your run of the mill average successful white male in his mid 30's suckling at the teat of the taxpayers. :shaking2:

Don't you mean providing the teat for those unwilling to even try to be successful to suckle? The mere fact that you are a white male though means everything is all your fault.

Actually yes, yes it does.

Liberals = talk a big game, theories that look good on paper, lots of hope and misguided optimism, illusions of Utopian grandeur..

Everyone else = realists.

Stop bull****ting and talk honestly. Admit it, you've never once read a philosophy book in your life. You're a titty-sucker.

And, for the record, there was a reason I used the terms "social conservative" and "social liberal," instead of blanket statements.

While I consider myself a social liberal, I am increasingly finding myself more a fiscal conservative.

Stop casting everyone into one group or the other. It's trite.

I feel great. The birds are singing, it has stopped raining for the time being... the Orion launch was successful yesterday... and liberals are scrunching up their undies.
All in all a pretty good morning.

You sound like a titty-sucker.

Although, now that I think about it, that isn't too bad of a deal.

I'm sensing some irony......

Unless I completely misunderstand the context how would lack of philosophy reading (an assumption on your part in the first place) have anything to do with being a "titty-sucker"? I can't find the relevance one way or the other.

Oh, and as a general observation I think it quite accurate that there is reasonable cause to believe the "average" military person is tougher than the "average" citizen.

Actually, I agree with the socially liberal/fiscally conservative stance. I think people that need temporary help should get it. Help. Not hand outs for the rest of their lives. If that consists of job training, not college level educations... we could help with that. But when they are having 6,7,8 kids with 6,7,8 different fathers, then at some point that irresponsibility needs to be reconciled. The handouts stop. And the fathers need to be held accountable too (if of course you can find them.. Maury can help)

Fiscal conservatism goes without saying.

Reading philosophy means bupkis. I've read Schopenhauer and some others, and they contribute nada to my perception of the real world around me. Get your head out of academia and look around "professor".

Other than that, your rants are childish, and frankly quite surprising from a supposed learned man...

I think you are sucking on a "bottle" today

Let me explain it to you, Obsessed. Cause I like you.

I'm going to impart some secret knowledge to you.

Social conservatives: deathly afraid of change; therefore, whiners

Social liberals: deathly afraid of the past; therefore, whiners

Does that compute?

There is none. He is taking the Howard Stern approach to argument.

Does Walden by Thoreau count? It was a huge steaming pile of sh$t.

I dont know why someone would want to read a philosophy book if it wasn't part of a homework assignment. :ermm:

Okay, I'm going to say that I'm sick and tired of social conservatives accusing social liberals of being babies.

Let's get this straight: social liberals certainly have their poor characteristics. Personally, I wish they were a bit more physically in your face instead of verbally. Punching someone in the mouth seems to resonate more with social conservatives.

However, make no mistake. You social conservatives are also a big bunch of whining babies, who also never left your mother's teet. You whine about everything that doesn't go your way. It's like you've never even read a book or something. Never quite left the comfort of the suckle. I don't care if you've served in the military or not. Couldn't give a ****. That doesn't make you tougher than anyone else. Sometimes confronting intellectual truths can be just as difficult.

So, to all whiners, conservative and liberal, this post is for you.

Only an un-weaned, whiny baby could post something like this.

You should gain a sense of humor.

You should try posting something that is amusing. I think if you look at the preponderance of responses to your posts you would see that they aren't found to be humorous. But, yeah... maybe it's just me. :eek:k:

All of my friends who are heavy into philosophy, the hipster I want to wax poetic at open mic night at the $4 PBR on tap bar types, do nothing but complain about how unfair life is and how they have to struggle to survive.....

And that's why I read books that would help me in life, not make me ponder life and subsequently go nowhere in it.

And thanks to not reading philosophy books I help around 100,000 people land and leave Orlando safely in the air a day. Socrates ain't got sh!t on me.

So you really think your whiny butt is any different from them, huh?

You whine just as much as anyone on here.

The majority of your friends back in high school must have decided it best not to jump off a bridge.

That's unfortunate.
